" How's she going with the online school? Mom ask. 

Me and my folks are sitting in the kitchen of my childhood home. It seem like I've been running here more now then when I was just a boy. I have no other option. My home is a war field.

"I honestly think she could graduate now if they let her move at the pace she wanted to." My daughter has a smart mind to her. She got that school shit from Shelly that's for sure.

"How she doing?"

" The same but she's not the reason I'm here."

" Oh. Well then what pray tell has my grown ass son sitting in my house if it isn't about his seriously hurting daughter then?" Dad's been getting more territorial over how Kiki needs to be helped.

"Alex informed Lexi that he wants to go back to his pack before his first shift. Has it all planned out. Told Lexi that he would stay with his grand parents and she could stay here with me. Lexi is tore up about it but at the same time understands the issues he's having here." 

She's not the only one. I never liked the way they handled Alex and once Kiki refused the pack for what she seen, and she only saw the tame version of how he is treated. I may not be his father by blood but I'm his father by choice and he should be treated as the Beta's son! 

Oddly enough it was meeting Kierra and how much she loved her step father. She knew that he wasn't her father but that didn't stop the bond they created. I'm glad Kiki had that in her life. Just like I'm proud to be Alex's father.

"No he can't go." Mom already has watery eyes. She loves him as much as she does the twins.

"Well what the hell are you going to do to ensure my grandson stays right here. Where he belongs!" Damn I wish some times that dad would lose some of his bark. 

"I'm going to talk to Marcus about allowing him join the pack. He is a Blackfoot in name that's  all that should matter. He is my son and it's his right to be here."

"Damn straight he is!" This is exactly why mom is dad's mate.

After finishing up lunch with my parents it's time to talk to Marcus. If he refuses I'm not sure what I'll do, but if Lexi wants to leave with Alex then I guess I'll become a outsider to a pack because where my family goes I go!

"Alpha can I have a word?" 

"If your calling me Alpha must be serious." Marcus takes a seat at his big oak desk. 

" I want Alex inducted into the pack. He's my son in name. It's my right as a Blackfoot to have my son be a Lunar." 

Hard stance Beta to Alpha. I will not bend on this. My family will always come before pack. Our pack might bind us but our family will always be what makes us.

" No I'm sorry my friend but no." 

"Well then you need to start the trials for a new Beta Alex wants to leave which means so will Lexi and where they go I go." There it's out there. I thought this would sadden me but when the idea of what this could mean for us comes I can't keep the smile off my face.

"You know this could actually be a good thing. Alex would be happy and of course Lexi, but I could get Kiki away from what this place holds for her. Hell maybe Mikel could meet his mate! then Gods willing The twins could work through their issues with a fresh start!" 

I'm starting to get excited about this whole move. It's a win win win for the whole Blackfoot clan!

"Wait you would take Mikel and Kierra away from their birthright? Are you sure Mikel would even want to leave his future Beta position behind? Hell his best friend and Lisa." 

Looking at Marcus with my head cocked to the side.

"You haven't heard? Kiki caught your son and Lisa going at it. Plus where Kiki goes Mikel will go. I don't know if you noticed but he is on a mission to make up his fuck up to her. I know you don't understand Gemini twins hell even I don't understand a lot of it but Mikel would follow Kiki to the ends of the earth right now."

And with that being said it hit's me! Gemini's I could take the twins there, let them learn about who they are. What it means to be a Gemini twin. Once they get their shit together a move forward, they can rebuild a stronger bound then before. Maybe they'll allow the twins and Alex join their pack, and if not we'll move forward and find our own place in this world.

"I'm sorry Ash and Lisa?" Oh that's right I forgot about Marcus. I feel like a pup excited for Christmas with this new idea.

"I'll talk to you later about being released from the pack. I need to talk to my family."

"No wait! We can't lose our Beta and future Beta. Let me speak with a few elders and see where they stand on Alex before you go buying a house alright."

I agreed with Marcus even though I'm still talking to the kids and Lexi. The only reason Marcus is willing to mull this idea over is my daughter. I'm not stupid but Marcus must be if he thinks his son still has a chance. She may be pissed and her brother but she would never betray him no matter what he has done to her. So once Ash did what he did with Lisa he burned the bridge with Kiki.

"Lex you home love? Kiki?" 

"Hey you" Lexi gives me a quick kiss. Much to short for my liking.

"Kiki is at the falls, before you ask she has her phone. I just think she needed to be alone ya know." 

She always wants to be alone. I want to ask if she want to see a professional to talk to but don't know if she's even ready to admit what has happened. Not just with that asshole but with her mom, step dad and brother. It just seems like life is just bashing her down all at once. 

"Good, so listen I have a idea that I want to run by you before we talk to the kids."

After telling Lexi about maybe hitting up the Gemini  pack then Alex's birth right pack and then possibly finding our own spot in the world she seems excited.  She wants what's best for the kids and knows that Alex needs to be some place that will accept him for who he is. Everyone deserves that in their life. If I can make it happen for my kids then I damn sure will! 

"What about you parents?"

"They can come if they want. Once we settle some where. I think we need this as a family. Plus with Alex shifting soon we'll have plenty of wolves to have our own little pack that will keep the wolves happy. Pack animals and all that." 

"Dad Lexi were home." 

Guess I'll be talking to the boys first.
