Holding Mikel's wolf back by his scruff, when all I really want to do is set my boy loose on my daughters mate.  

"Answer me now!"

"What the hell is going on here?" Jay's father and alpha says calmly while carefully, keeping his trained eyes on Mikel's wolf.

Fred Cross good man even greater Alpha. For the life of me I'll never understand why the moon cursed him with a pup like Jay.

"Devin why are you questioning my son? And just why exactly is your pups wolf on my land?"

"Fred your boy here silvered Devin's daughter." Marcus takes the lead. Alpha to alpha.

"What! Jay cross explain boy right NOW! Why the fuck would you do that to a breeder?"

Shit I wanted to keep the fact that she is the only female shifter quite at least until we got Kiki into the pack and under our protection.

"She was a wolf dad, I didn't know. Plus she had a pack less sent"

"You don't understand we've been having attack's on our females." Jay starts until his father cuts him off.

"Not here. Gentlemen come to the house. We need to talk."

"Is this the reason you asked for a meeting Fred?" Marcus asks.

When Fred nods I know it must be serious if a alpha asked for another alphas help.

"Marcus, Mikel and I need to get to Kierra." My pup is hurt. I don't give a fuck about the pack that did this to her or their issues.

"I'm coming"  Jay states strongly.

"No the fuck you're not. You stay away from my daughter!" This boy has lost his moon loving mind if he thinks he's getting within breathing distance of Kiki.

" I have a right to see her, after all she is my moon mate beta."

Mikel is on him faster then I can grab his scruff. That's my boy!

"Your mate is the only female wolf!" Fred excitement and relief can't be denied.
Think again.

"Your moon mate?" Laughing while pulling Mikel off the idiot.

"She moved past you the minute she found out you knew who she was to you and you and your human put on a x- rated show for her."

Turning my back on the mutt, while pulling Mikel. Hearing both Fred and Marcus going off on the little shit.

Getting back to the house as quickly as possible so Mikel can get a change of cloths. My wolf just wanting to get to his injured pup.

"You should have let me take him out."

"Right so we can deal with pack war while your sister is hurt?"

"She is hurt because of him! Do you know what would've happened to Kiki if Ash didn't get her to Cleo in time?"

Yes! I know exactly what would happen, very damn well.  The silver stops are accelerated
Healing no matter the wound it inflicts. If it's a non fatal wound we would heal like a normal human. However wolves bane now that is pure hell. The poison attack's our animal counterparts. Literally burns us from the inside out.

"I know Mikel and we will deal with the boy, but right now your sister is hurt and needs us calm and by her side."
He knows I mean it. We will deal with that fucker Jay Cross.  And if he feels he has the upper hand on my son due to his alpha bloodline well then he's in for a rude awakening.

Shelly might have only been a breeder but she was damn sure of alpha blood. Just as her children are.

"How is she?" Asking Cleo  the witch/ doctor

"I'm good beta, thanks for asking"

"Cleo how is my daughter? " Growling out I feel the shift coming on. I like the witch doctor but now is not the time for games .

"She's going to be okay, but"

"But what?" Fuck I've failed her as a father. Shelly  was right to take her from me.

"But Lisa has attached herself to Kiki so I'm afraid that your daughter won't be able to get rid of mine."

" Fuck Cleo you had me on a downward spiral."

She laughs. LAUGHS! 

"Sorry but your girl is strong just like her mamma."

Cleo and Shelly were best friends while growing up in the Gemini pack. They helped each other survive life there. Shelly loved Cleo like a sister and Vice versa.

Walking into the living room where my daughter is currently laying unconscious. She looks so fragile. This strong amazing girl was almost taken out by her mate.

"Ash you can head home now. Thank you for looking out for her." I mean that at least she had a potential with her to keep her wolf calm.

"Are you sure? I can stay if you need to meet with dad."

Ash's true mate died a few years back in a swimming accident. Ash was hurt but he didn't have his wolf yet. So he didn't have to worry about losing himself to nature.
He's a good kid one that I wouldn't mind for my daughter , but right now with my pup hurt he needs to step away.

"I'm sure, please go around back and have my boy come in, they need each other right now."

"Why? Why would they mainly Kiki need Mikel? I'm her potential he's just her brother."

Million dollar question. No one has the actual answer, maybe just Gemini twins know. If they do that's one of the best kept secrets of our kind. In fact once Kiki has joined the pack I'll send the twins there, so they can learn and see where their mother grew up.

"I don't know they just do."  

Ash leaves and I take Kiki's hand in mine.

" I promise you from this point on I will protect you. I am so sorry I have failed you so far."

"Dad! How is she?" Mikel already taking her other hand.

"Surviving. You need to stay close help her heal."  I feel Marcus wolf calling out to me.
"Stay here I need to meet with the alpha."

Walking into Marcus's office surprised to see alpha Cross here as well.

" Beta, how is your daughter?"

" She is none of your concern." I know Fred is just worried about his sons mate, but his bitch of a pup did this to her.

"Beta! Now is not the time. Now alpha Cross has some important information to share." The tone in My alphas voice lets me know he's not happy with this news or the timing of it.

"Yes, over the past six weeks, each week one of our girls, our breeders have been taken." Fred shares with his eyes flashing gold letting me know that his wolf is coming forward. Hating the fact that he couldn't protect his pack. 

But the only thing running through my mind is that if someone or some people are snatching potential mates then Kierra will have a even bigger target on her back.
