Tents set up all around, a huge fire blazing in the pit. Older native American men are pounding on home made drums.

The flames seem to be dancing to their beat. Children running around, woman dancing, a feast is spread out.

A true celebration, But for what? Why am I here?

Walking up to a little girl to find out whats going on and just exactly where the hell I am. Vision walk my ass.

"Excuse me." She doesn't even acknowledge my existence. Rude!

Going from person to person trying to get a response has me realizing that this isn't real.

I'm high!

Two huge white wolves come out from behind me. They shift from beast to human so fast that if I would have blinked I would have missed it.

A man steps out from one of the tents the size of him would put Blackfoot to shame.

"Ah my twins! How was the hunt?"

"Father it was plentiful."

A gasp leaves my lips. That voice it's of a girl. A female shifter and she's a twin.

The three walk towards the fire and everyone and everything stills.

"When I prayed to our heavens for help with our peoples starvation. Mother earth was no longer able to supply food with the growth of our tribe. I could never have imagined that they would bless my twins with the spirit of the wolf. Kayden and Kara were given the gifts of being true hunters. No longer will our people wonder where their next meal will come from!"

Looking into the eyes of everyone in this tribe there is only respect and love showing in their eyes.

The scene before me starts to fade until I am standing in a tent with the twins. They are in a heated argument.

"Kara you can't just go about as if you were a god!"

She rolls her eyes at her brother. " That's exactly what we are Kayden."

"No we are not. We hunt to keep our people's bellies full. We shift to keep our camps safe. We were touched by the Gods, but never confuse that by thinking you are one."

A new scene forms. Kara and a man with a scar that takes up the entire left side of his face.

"Kara it's the only way we can be together. You know this."

"Lee he's my brother and our tribes future leader. I can't kill him. He's been blessed by the Gods." Kara is crying so hard that her whole body is shaking.

" So you put your brother higher then your soul, or am I just not that important to you because the two of you are Gods among men. You think I'm beneath you Kara?"

" No Lee I love you!"

Lee gently grabs Kara's face.

" I'm not asking you to take his life my love, I'm just asking you to not hunt with him tonight. I'll handle everything and once the deed is done I'll be able to take his spirit animal. Then you and I can run this tribe as equals. A God and a Goddess forever as one."

Once again I'm back by the fire. Kara her father and tribe are all here.

"Why didn't you hunt tonight daughter?"

Kara stiffens. You can see the war going on inside of her. It's a mixture of sadness and from what I can tell  happiness.

She shrugs her shoulders " Just not feeling right. Don't want to go out there without the right mindset."

So she made the decision to help kill her brother, and for what? So her "soul" wants to be a shifter.

To become a God.

"Kara you know that nothing is more important then family. My blood your blood our blood."

" I do father."

Yet she is willingly staying behind so her brother can be murdered by the hands of her lover no less. She doesn't understand the meaning of family.

I can't even begin to understand how she can do this for a man. Never would anyone be held above Dylan. Shit no one could even plant the idea in my head to even lay a finger on Mikel or Alex. Not even my beast's so called mate.

"Do you daughter? Do you really believe that in your soul?" The icy coldness in her fathers voice has goosebumps going wild on my arms.

"Father is everything alright? Are you angry at.."

Kara words are cut off by twigs snapping. Kayden is dragging a very bloody and pissed off Lee.

The vision starts to blur. Blinking a few times trying to go back to see how the rest plays out but instead I'm staring at Grandpa Kane.

Kane said that he's never heard of anyone ever having seen a female wolf during a trip, but he's going to look into it, and that I should try and figure out why the moon chose to give me this vision.

I have a feeling that Kara helping her lover try and kill her brother is why females no longer have a wolf, but what I don't get is that is this vision of the past a warning to me?

To keep history from repeating it's self.

Well if that's it, it was a fucking waste of a spirit walk. Sure I've known that I'm a twin for 3.2 seconds but I know for a fact that I would never in this life or the next betray Mikel or any of the Blackfoot family for that matter.

That revelation has me stumbling a bit. Definitely not even remotely ready to try and analyze that.

"Kiki!"

A welcome distraction from the maybe feelings I have mainly towards the beast himself Devin Blackfoot.

"Hey Ash."

"Lisa demanded I see if you were still up to catching a movie."

"No to the movie, yes to going to grabbing some food. Grand pa Kane had some good shit."

" Ah yes welcome to the Lunar pack where the grass is green and the weed is greener!"
