" So how much did Shelly tell you about our family?" Uncle Levi asks.

" Honestly nothing when she was alive. She told me that she grew up in the system. She always said that Dylan and I were her only family." 

Mikel lowers his head at my statement. Shit good job Kiki.

"Dylan?" Levi asks. With a raised eyebrow. 

" Yes our little brother. He was I guess completely human. Since he was my Dad's or uh step father's and her son." Making sure to say OUR wanting Mikel to feel included in all things Mom related. 

Uncle Dylan has a mega watt smile on his face even uncle Levi is smiling at that.

" Wait you said when she was alive. What does that mean?" Mikel ask. Well can't slip shit by beta boy huh.

" Well okay and don't fucking judge me on this." I make sure to give all three of these wolves hard eyes. I swear to the moon if they make fun of me I WILL rip their balls off.

" Well you may not look like her but you sure as fuck have her mean streak" Beta Dylan bellows out. " We won't laugh at you Kierra. I promise."

"A few weeks ago I had this dream. I was running in wolf form which was amazing since my wolf is on a vacation, anyways I was running then boom Dylan. My Dylan was there running around the  meadow that Blackfoot planted for me. Mom came to me and told me of her life here and how her father wasn't the nicest to breeders. She also told me of the night she left and how the two of you saved her from your father and I guess in a way Mikel and I need to say thank you since he intended to beat us  of out of her."

No one speaks for a unbearable amount of time.

'Did I say something wrong?'  I ask Mikel thanks to  our weird twin bond it doesn't have to be spoken aloud.

'I don't think so. Maybe they are just having a lot to take in. Ya know.'

'Or maybe I some how pissed off two high ranking wolves all while mine is taking her fucking beauty rest to a whole new level'

Mikel snorts out a laugh that has both our uncles snapping their eyes to us.

" Where you two just communicating?"

" Yes and as we were told it's a Gemini twin thing. Now is what we were told correct?" Holy shit Mikel was definitely  made to be a high ranking wolf. I never seen my brother go from laughing teen to big man on campus so damn fast.

" It is true and now we know 100% that you are in face Gemini twins. This is amazing. Sure we have had twins move to different packs and still hold onto the bond that allows them to communicate but we have never NEVER had a male and  female twin. Pl.."

The Alpha's door opens with it slamming into the wall.

" Oh my God! Oh MY FUCKING GOD, you're here!"

" Damn it James what I tell you about my door?" Uncle Levi ask with absolutely  no heat in his voice in fact he holds a small smile. 

Oh James so he must be one of our cousin's. He's not tall. He looks to stand at my height.

He has the same blond and blue combo that seems mom's family hold. 

"Hey Mikel good to see you." James addresses my brother before his blues turn to my greens. 

"Now you Kierra look at that body! hour glass figure with tits and." James walks around to my back ." and YASSSS my cousin is a bad Bish. We are going to slay these men gurl"

" Back off of her James. I'm sure men is the furthest thing from her mind right now considering what happen." A second male comes in and considering his features I'm going to take a wild guess and say this is Jerry. 

"Oh right. Sorry Kierra I'm just so excited to have another girl around, you know we have to stick together"

" No problem it's nice to meet you. The both of you."

" Right well we can continue this and more tomorrow. The boys are here to take you to a party with the rest of what did they call it Dylan? Hmm oh yes " Young people" as a welcome party if you will." Alpha Levi says while getting out of his chair.

" Party? I'm in. It will be good to catch up with the two of you." Mikel says 

I can't stop my heart from racing. I'm sure that every wolf can hear it. Instantly  I feel shame. 

Woman get raped every three minute's and that's just in the United States. I couldn't even begin to wrap my head around the number if we added in the other countries. 

I know that my chance's of it happening again here are slim to none but it doesn't change the fact that that's exactly where my mind went.

Will I ever be able to be a normal girl again?  How do I move on from what one person did to me? 

And that's the thing. It was just one person. In one small amount of time, and now I have no idea how to be me, because I'm not the me that I was just 30 seconds of the one thing that changed my whole entire life. 

" Actually I'm really beat from being on the road all day and kind of just want to crash if that's okay?" 

" Oh. okay we can go to be then." Mikel doesn't even hesitate.

" No you go and have fun for the both of us. No reason for you to go to bed if your not the one that is tired."

" We stay together,no matter what right?"

Where was this attitude  when you really needed him little wolf?

Ugh bitch shut up. He's trying which is a hell of a lot more then I can say for you. 

" we have our link as long as we both keep it open we should be fine. You take this one night to relax have fun. Tomorrow we can learn more about Mom and this Gem twin shit. Maybe even look for your mate or potential. Okay? I'll call Blackfoot sort it all out, and come tomorrow joined at the hip we will be."

Mikel still looks unconvinced. That alone tugs at my heart. He really is trying.

" Mikel you have my Alpha promise that your sister and her wolf will be protected by me, I swear it on my title." 

I don't know what that is but whatever it was has Mikel relaxing his shoulders, and nodding his head.

Alpha Levi takes me upstairs and the room takes my breath away. It's huge like this is a damn apartment huge! With a four poster bed double french doors that lead to a balcony that over looks the forest  hills.  Simply amazing. 

" If you hop off the balcony you can run as long as you and your wolf like."

" I wish but my wolf isn't coming out anymore."  Damn I can even taste the bitterness of my words.

" Since when?"

" The last time she came out was when she torn into.... I thought maybe it was the disconnect between Mikel and I but I fixed that or at least started the process of us moving forward but the bitch still wont come out! And " 

"  Wow hey now take a breath and relax. I can still smell some silver in you. That's why you haven't shifted yet, She is healing just as you are but you have to remember silver can kill our beast and from what I hear she even shifted with that shit in your system to protect you. That has to of had taken  a toll on her. Give it a day or two and I'll bet you that she will be out and about." 

That makes perfect since. for some reason I never thought it could be the silver. 

"Thank you alpha."

"You're welcome, and it's uncle Levi Kierra just uncle Levi."

"Well in that case it's Kiki uncle Levi just Kiki."
