The rest of the way to my new home was done in silence, Blackfoot driving me in the passengers seat drawling. Something I do when I need to turn my brain off. Only my normal cooping mechanism skill is not even holding a candle to my raging headache. So when we pull up in front of a massive cabin I am honestly surprised I didn't look at the town we drove through let alone driving though the woods.

Standing outside is my welcome wagon. A beautiful red head, assuming that's Lexi my new stepmother? Besides her is a boy with light brown hair with a walking stick in his hands Alex. Then we have Blackfoot's parents my grandparent's. Blackfoot definitely will be able to tell his looks in the future by looking at his father. A few gray streaks though his long French braided hair, he's huge. The man still looks like he can battle a bear and live to tell the story! He's holding a tiny woman's hand with long gray hair and the same forest green's as mine and her son's, but all I can think is finally someone my size.

They all have smiles on their faces all but the male version of myself that's standing on the porch. Our hair is the same honey blonde, green eyes, skin tone even matches all the same only that even from here I can see he will tower over me as well. Damn it got the short end of the stick or gene pool I should say.

Mikel is just looking at me as if he's studying me and I must look like I'm doing the same thing. As if I'm relieved to finally be whole again? Maybe it's a twin thing or maybe I'm making this up as I go. Taking a deep and I mean very deep calming breath before actually getting out of my truck.

Out of the pan and into the fire.

Stepping out standing besides Blackfoot he places his hand on the small of my back and starts ushering me forward.

"Don't worry they won't bite" he whispers in my ear. I'm sure he can hear the pounding of my heart.

"Everyone this is Kierra, or Kiki she prefers Kiki. " Blackfoot rips the invisible band aid off. No turning back now.

"Hello Kiki, I'm Diana but you call me Grams." Diana says while pulling me into a extremely tight embrace. For a older lady she holds some strength. Diana moves me forward motioning to the older Blackfoot " And this is Kane your grandfather."

"Uh hello?" Half asking half stating. Kane brakes out in a booming laugh and it helps calm my nerves somewhat.

"Welcome home princess."

Home? sure to them this is home and sure it's not their fault I was never brought here but this is not my home. I'm not sure home is even my home anymore considering I was only there due to the lies my mother created.

Nope can't go there right now. We move on and I was right about the little boy being Alex. He seemed like a sweet kid, and he wasn't some long lost family member so I make a mental note that he will be my escape from all this 'family stuff' he can be the gray area of what has become my life. We moved on to Lexi, her saying how it will be nice to have another woman around a house full of men.

My eyes keep getting drawn to Mikel who hasn't taken his eyes off me since pulling into the driveway.

"Let's give these two some privacy, Mikel show your sister around the grounds." Kane say's while giving my twin a very stern look. Mikel jerks his head a notion for me to follow him. At least he seems just as confused about this whole situation as I know I am.

Following close behind Mikel trying not to think about every horror movie ever created, ' Oh you know blonde girl follows long lost twin into the unknown woods ,then trips and  falls and found dead shortly after' horror movies. Walking not even three minutes and we stop at a stream. A stream surrounded by sunflowers. It honestly looks like a work of art. The water gently flowing gives off a calming effect. This is the kind of place I would go to back in California just to get away.
