"You're daughter disrespected me and the pack Devon." Marcus is pissed. His wolf not taking the rejection very well. Not that I blame him mine is just as pissed but also proud and respects his pup's willingness to defend her family.

"Not to mention she's a breeder one that is Ash's potential mate. She refused to join therefore refusing the protection that comes along with it. Do you understand what could happen to her?"

" I understand all to well Marcus, but if you even think that I wouldn't protect her with my life pack or not, then you are sadly mistaken." 

I do understand better then anyone. In fact I understand why Shelly did what she did. Don't forgive her or agree with it but understand it.

God when I first seen Shelly Gemini all those years ago I knew right away she was my true mate. Not a potential but a 100% true moon given mate. Shell's father was at the time Alpha of the Gemini pack and he didn't want his daughter away from his pack, away from his control.

The Gemini's use to live by the code of reproduction. Weather it was true mates or potential mates it didn't matter as long as pups and breeders were born. Females don't shift and not every female is born with the gene needed to breed so they took what they could get. Shelly was determined to get out at all costs and I suppose in a way she did. Doing what she thought best for our daughter. A life away from packs away from wolves. 

Away from males that want nothing more then to mate.

Fuck the second I steeped foot in that hospital to see if she in fact was my daughter I could smell my blood in her veins, but also the fact she's a breeder a strong one at that! That's the main reason Mikel is so on edge  when it comes to Kiki. 

Add on the fact that they are Gemini twins. His wolf has a need to protect his sibling and she has a need to calm him. 

Gemini twins, while they are rare, But a girl boy twin has never been heard of. The twins are like yin and yang, day and night. They even one another out. Shelly told me stories of her father's beta's  twins. Their bond was stronger then pack and mate bonds combined. Nothing sexual just a need to  keep each other safe.  Now Kierra refusing to join the pack Mikel's wolf is raging trying to keep it's weaker half safe.

"I'll fix this."

"And how will you do that Devon. By keeping her in the dark or by sending her away?"

Send her away? Fuck no I just got here back and I'll be damned if I let her go again. We have so much time to make up for.

"No Marcus by telling her the truth. The whole truth. By making her understand" I just hope and send prayer to the moon that she can handle it.

"DAD" Mikel comes rushing in Marcus's offices white as a ghost.

"Dad it's Kiki."

"What about her? Where is she?" I knew I shouldn't let her leave especially to see that pathetic excuse of a wolf Liam.

"She's a wolf!" Laughing because no she can't be females don't shift.

"And she's attacking grandpa." Rushing out Marcus and Mikel hot on my tail

Finally after what seemed to be forever but was actually only 3 minutes at most, I see my fathers wolf laying on the ground his shoulder torn out and a huge black wolf in a protective stance in front of Alex, Not taking it's eyes off the wolf on the ground to acknowledge us. 

She doesn't feel threatened by our presence.
