One hour fifty two minutes and the doc has still not returned! Fred bless his heart has been trying to distract me with a game of Texas hold em but can't stop my eyes from drifting to the clock every few seconds.  So when Fred's phone chimes my heart skips a beat. 

"Doc's on his way." Quickly helping Alpha Cross clean up the cards and poker chips. Honestly it's to just keep myself busy so I don't show just how much I am freaking the fuck out. 

"Alpha, Kiki." Dr. Dray Greets from the office door. Trying to get a read on what my test results concluded but he's emotionless.  

FUCK!

"Do you want me to stay or.."  

That's a good question? I want my mom but we all know that's not possible. Maybe having Fred here will keep me grounded.

' NO '

Fucking wolf has a opinion on my life but won't shift. Bitch! 

"I.. No sir. This is something that I need to handle alone." 

Of course maybe if I give her what she want's she'll help me out a little?

 Fred leaves and the doctor takes the seat next to me. Pulling out a sealed envelope. Explains the emotionless face.   

"Give me just a minute Kiki to look all this over." All I can do is nod. Mentally giving myself a pep talk. 

If I am pregnant that will be my breaking point. That's just something that  I will not be able to handle. There is only so much even the strongest person can deal with and I am far far far from strong.

Bless the woman that are!

"Well you're not pregnant!" 

"Oh thank God!" I exclaim!  "Holy shit you have no idea how damn happy you just made me Doc."

Dr. Dray laughs at my out burst. Before focusing on my results again.

"But you still have a considerate amount of silver in you system. I am going to write you a script and you will need to take three times a day with food in your belly." Damn the doctor has a stare that would level Grandpa Kane. 

"I can understand that with everything that has happen that eating is the last thing on your mind, but you have to do this so your wolf can heal. Do you understand?"

" You just given me the best news possible. If you told me to climb mount Everest with no shoes or ropes I would do it, so yes Doc understood!"

Our laughter is what Alpha Cross walks into. You can see him instantly relax at hearing us. I guess I wasn't the only one stressing.

"Sorry to barge in but your phone has been beeping."

"That's okay. Clean bill Alpha!" Grabbing my phone Seeing that's it' s rapid texts from both Lexi and Blackfoot. 

Guess my time is up.

"It's Blackfoot he needs me home."

I hug Alpha Cross which shocks the fuck out of the two of us.

" Thank you so much for your help." 

I quickly turn towards the Dr. Dray. " Thank you as well, and I promise to listen to doctors orders."

Once I'm outside the sun shining down on my face. For the first time in a long time something has worked in my favor. That's why that even when I try and summon my wolf and she's a no show I still walk on with out dwelling on it.

"Kierra, hey are you looking for me?" Jay comes to my side.

"No your dad actually. Now I'm heading home. Didn't even realize that it was late enough for school to be out already."
