I woke up screaming. I didn't even remember falling asleep. I woke up somewhere unknown. "Hey! Hey! Stiles it's okay! You're alright." Felicia said grabbing hold of my shoulders and holding me close to her. I shuddered. "What happened to me? To us?" I asked. "A bomb went off in the building we were on top of. You entered the building saving 20 people's lives. You don't remember?" "No. Why am I hurt so much?" "You exited the building after saving the last person with cuts and bruises all over you. You must have gotten hit by a falling object." "Did I fight someone? In a red suit?" "No. No one else was there but me and you." I shuddered again. "Stiles? What's wrong?" "It's happening again. What time was it when it happened?" "Um...I don't know. Around noon, maybe. Why?" "What day was it?" "Thursday." "What is today?" "Friday." My eyes widened. "What time is it now?" I asked. "You're scaring me." "Not as much as I am right now." I said getting up despite the excruciating pain I felt. It was 7:04 PM. I lost the feeling in my legs and started to fall. My eyes were fluttering. "Red? You good?" "I fell asleep for too long. It happened again." I said. "What?" "The demon. I can't sleep or else it'll gain control over me. I can't do this again. I can't. It was like a nightmare that I could never wake up from. It's terrifying. Cat. I can't go through this again. I nearly died the last time." I said in tears. Felicia knelt down beside me, grabbed my head and pulled me close to her chest. I sobbed silently into her leather jacket. I stopped and listened to the sound of her beating heart. I breathed to the rhythm of her heart. Felicia was combing my hair with her fingers.

"Hey I'm not going to let this thing kill you. Okay?" Felicia said. "Cat. That's easier said than done." "That's never stopped me before. Won't stop me now." Felicia stated wrapping her arms around me in a hug. I wrapped my long arms around her and never let go. "You're really scared aren't you?" Felicia asked. "More than I've ever been in my life...and I've gone up against terrifying creatures." "It's okay to be afraid of death, Stiles." Cat said. "Are you?" "Of course I am." Felicia said. "I don't know how much time I have left." I said. "Stop spending your time worrying about when and what will happen." Felicia said. "I always worry. It's a thing I do. I did it before I was Spider-Man...I do it now." "Some things just don't change." I laughed. "Come on. Let's go. We are going out." "What? I don't want to leave." "Fine." Felicia said turning her back to me. I chuckled. I stood up and stretched. I looked at the place. "Where are we?" "My place." "You have your own place?" "Yeah. Used to live on the streets and then I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I got my DNA fused with feline DNA. I used my abilities to climb up the chain of hierarchy of crime. Got rich. Got headlines in papers as the infamous "Black Cat"." Felicia said. "Huh. Aren't you lucky?" "I guess so." Felicia said with a smirk.

She took her leather jacket off to reveal a black tank top with a few cuts and bruises on her back. "Hey...you're hurt." "Yeah. A few bits of rubble hit my back when the bomb exploded." Felicia said. I brushed my fingertips down her back. She turned to me and smiled. "Do they hurt?" "No. It's just cosmetic." "Ah. Looks like it would." "Exactly. You however...are a different story. You look like you tried to go a round with Hulk." Felicia said in a whisper against my neck. "Sounds painful." I stated. Felicia grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me towards her. She pressed her lips against mine and threw arms around my neck. I lifted her into the air and she wrapped her legs around my torso. I kissed her as I walked to the bed. She ran her hands through my hair and kissed my under jaw. I sat down on the edge of the bed and Felicia pushed me down. She tore my shirt off and hands brushed against every bruise, scratch, and cut on my torso. "You take after Batman too much, Red." "What makes you say that?" I asked with a smile. "You get new injuries every time I see you." "What can I say? I'm a magnet for trouble." "I can see that." She said sitting above my waist. She took her shirt off and carelessly tossed it aside. I pulled her down towards me and kissed her lips again. She moaned as she moved to kiss my neck. Her lips traveled down to my chest and passed over each wound. I moved my hands up and down her body. "Still worrying about the demon?" Felicia asked. "What demon?" I asked with a smile. "Good." Felicia said kissing my lips. She got off my waist and laid next to me in the bed. She rested her head on my chest and closed her eyes. I combed her hair with my fingers. I heard Felicia sound asleep she nestled her body against mine to get warm. I repositioned myself to make her more comfortable. I picked her up slightly with my super-strength and brought the covers up over us. I brought Felicia's body towards mine. She mumbled something that I couldn't understand. My eyes were getting heavy. I closed my eyes and finally fell asleep after 45 minutes of watching Felicia sleep.
