Bitten

Chapter 9

I was on a plane to Germany for a reason I had no idea. All Mr. Stark told me was something about Captain America going rogue or something along those lines. I was at the hotel I was so nervous I had no clue what was going on. "Kid put the suit on." Said the bodyguard of Tony Stark. "Got it." I put my suit on. 15 minutes later I'm standing in front of the mirror in my spider suit. "What the hell is that?" "My suit." "Did you get the briefcase?" "Briefcase?" "Oh my god. It's in the other room" "Whoa! I have another room! Oh the briefcase I see it." I opened it to reveal my new suit. "Whoa!!! This is the coolest thing ever!" "Put it on we have to go!" "Right sorry."

I was waiting behind a bunch of cargi waiting for my cue. Captain America and Iron Man were talking. There were two sides. "Wow! Black Widow is really pretty and I just said that out loud didn't I?" I said. "Underoos!" "That's my cue!" I jumped into the air webbed Captain America's shield and then his hands and landed behind Iron Man on a baggage transport. "I could've stuck the landing better but with the suit. Oh Mr. Stark there's nothing wrong with the suit it's perfect...Hi everyone," I said waving. "Oh Cap big fan." I said saluting him. Captain America looked at Tony. "Okay kid we can do this later." "Sorry." I apologized. "You've been busy." "And you've been a complete idiot." Then the fight began 45 seconds later.

I was fighting Captain America. I can't believe I'm actually fighting Captain America!!! "Kid there is more going on here than Tony let on." "Mr. Stark told me that you would say that." "Did he now?" "He also told me to go for your legs." I said as I knocked him to the ground. I was a few more times by Cap. I jumped into the air onto a jet bridge. "Did he say anything else?" "That you're wrong and you think you're right and that makes you dangerous." I told him as I jumped off the bridge and swung towards Captain America. He kicked me in the chest and I went flying into the leg of the jet bridge. I fell to the ground. I got up. "He makes a good point." Captain America said as he threw his shield and it hit the jet bridge leg. The bridge collapsed onto me. Luckily I caught it though before I could be crushed. "You got heart kid, where you from?" "Queens." I answered straining my voice while trying not to get crushed to death. "Brooklyn." Captain America said and ran off. "Cool. Leave a 17 year old kid to be crushed by a jet bridge." I said to myself. I was struggling to stand up. I went down to my knees trying to keep the bridge from breaking my back. I screamed through my teeth. I could feel my face turning red from exerting myself too much. I was starting to get weaker. "Come on Spider-Man. I was getting lower and lower. I was soon on my back trying to breathe with the huge mass of metal just centimeters from my ribcage. I screamed through my teeth again. "Come on Spider-Man!!" I yelled to myself. "Is that kid talking to himself?" "It would appear so." I heard Tony say over the comm link. I tore my mask off trying to breathe. "OH MY GOD HE'S JUST A KID, TONY WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!!" I heard the voice of Black Widow screaming. I screamed trying to push the thing off of my body. My fight with Cap made me too weak and took a lot out of me. My arms were trembling. The bridge dropped three inches. It was basically inside my ribcage now, making friends with my heart and lungs. I couldn't breathe. I pulled my left arm from beneath the metal and tried to pull myself out with my webs. I screamed in pain. "Yeah maybe that's a bad idea. THANK YOU CAPTAIN FOR DROPPING A 1000 POUND HUNK OF METAL ON A TEENAGER!!! QUITE THE HERO!" I screamed in between gasps of air. I tilted my head back to see what was going on. They were going about their fight like I didn't just scream out in pain. I closed my eyes and breathed. I grabbed the metal and pushed with all my strength. It lifted off my body. I screamed through my teeth pushing with all my might. I'm pretty sure I'm making my teammates go deaf. Serves them right. Not helping out a helpless teenager stuck underneath a jet bridge with it millimeters from his chest. "COME ON!!! COME ON!!! SPIDER STRENGTH. DON'T. FAIL. ME NOW!!!!!" I screamed pushing harder. I heard the metal shearing and tearing above me. I saw a man the size of a 6 story tall building. They were ignoring me. They probably didn't even care. All that mattered was catching Steve Rogers and his friend. I got angry....really angry. The adrenaline pumping through me boosted my super-strength and got to my knees and then my feet. I was furious at both sides, risking the life of a minor for what? Two 100 year old men. I turned around towards the giant man. Every one was fighting him that was on Tony's side. Right now I could care less about both teams. I heaved the jet bridge at the giant man and it hit him in the back. He fell forward. Everyone turned to me. "OH SO NOW YOU LOOK AT ME!!!" I screamed running at both teams. Right now I was rogue. Iron Man was about to fire at Captain America when I webbed his arc-reactors. He looked at me. "Peter what are you doing?" "Getting even with everyone." I said coldly. "You probably don't know what I've been through....I fought nasty people. People I loved died. The only difference with any of you people is that when you see a helpless teenager whether or not he has superpowers you ignore him completely. You ignore his cries of extreme pain." I raged. I jumped into the air and webbed Captain America. I kicked him in the head. He got to his feet and started swinging at me. His friend did as well. I dodged all of their attacks and punched his friend in the face and Cap in the gut, kicking him to the ground. "Kid stand down!" Mr. Stark ordered. "Yeah I don't think so." I said as I jumped into the air and punched him. He crashed to the ground. I webved him there making him unable to move. "Black Widow I suggest you back off. I am not going to hit you. It goes against my morals to hit a woman even if they are a criminal or not." I told her turning around to see her sneaking up on me. I shook my head in anger and frustration I webzipped into the air and retrieved my mask. I swung to the roof of a building. I sat down on the edge of the roof and  pulled my mask off. I looked down below to see everyone staring at me. I stood up, tightened my fists and swung away out view to the hotel.
