I woke up with something soft, furry, and warm on my chest. I looked down to see the cat fast asleep. I smiled at the little creature. I quietly tried to get out of the bed but found it was completely and utterly useless. I sighed and stared at the ceiling. The silence was broken when Mr. Stark swung open the door and clapped his hands once and very loudly. The cat dug its claws into my chest as it freaked out. "Alright Let's go up and at em! Where'd the cat come from? Who cares anyway you and I are going out with Natasha." "What why?" "To get you to stop being all emo and bleh. I don't like this side of Peter and frankly it kind of freaks me out a bit." Tony said. I pushed out my bottom lip and nodded. "Fair enough. As for the cat. It appeared in my bedroom last night." "Ugh. Fine you can keep the cat." "What? No I was just-" "Every kid wants a pet. Take the cat before I change my mind." "I was just- okay then." I said giving up. Well....I guess I own a cat now. The cat was busy messing with the hem of my pajama pants. The cat looked up at me when I looked down at it. "If you are keeping that cat...you better first find out if it is owned by anyone." "Well duh!" I said rolling my eyes. I took a shirt out of the dresser and put it on. I combed my fingers through my hair. The cat walked out of the room and explored the house. I slipped my shoes on and walked to Mr. Stark. "If I smell cat shit inside my suit...it's gone. The last thing I need is to have the smell of cat inside my suit." Stark said as he motioned me out of the room. I laughed as I exited. I walked over to the kitchen and plopped down into a chair at the table. The cat jumped up to the table and sat down in front of me. "Seriously?" I asked raising my arms into the air and looked at the cat. The cat meowed as it stretched out on the table. "If you are going to be living with me...you need to know some ground rules. You need to stay on the GROUND." I said picking her up and setting her down on the ground. Scott walked in and she hissed at him and ran away. "Hey Stiles whoa! When did you? When did you get a cat? Since when are you a cat person?" Scott asked as he sat down next to me and slapped my shoulder. "I uh I recently became a cat person...you know being surrounded by a bunch of dog people and literal werewolves is making me less and less of a dog person." "Mhm...you sure it doesn't have anything to do with last night's visit from a certain cat girl?" Scott asked sipping his orange juice. I choked on my bacon and started to cough. Scott widened his eyes and smacked my back. "You suck." I said in a raspy voice. Scott laughed and went back to eating his breakfast. "For your information...Black... you should not be eavesdropping on me in the middle of the night." I said pointing at him. "Wait what? You had a late night booty call?" Mr. Stark asked. "WHAT?! NO GROSS! EW! THAT'S DISGUSTING!" I exclaimed. "Well there goes my appetite. Bye." Steve said as he pushed his plate of food away.
