"So you are Spider-Man?" "What gave it away the suit or the fact that I'm talking to you guys while relaxing on the ceiling?" I asked sarcastically. I put a pair of clean clothes over my suit. Aunt May wasn't home yet. "How is this possible?" "I got bit by a radioactive spider at Oscorp-" my spidey senses were tingling. Aunt May was home and was walking to my room. I backflipped off the ceiling and landed on the floor and opened the door 7 inches to reveal Aunt May. "Hey Pete. How was school?" "Good...there was a reptile exhibit at school and I got up close and personal with some of them." "Peter who are your friends?" May asked opening the door. I saw Scott's, Isaac's, and Derek's mouth drop at the sight of May. "That's Scott, Lydia, Derek, Malia, Isaac, and you've already met Gwen." "I know Gwen. Nice to meet you guys. I'm Peter's aunt May." She said. The three werewolves still had their mouths open stunned. May waved goodbye and kissed my cheek. "Night May." "Night Pete." I turned around and closed the door. "She's your aunt?" Isaac asked. "Shut up." "There is no way she is your aunt." "I said shut up!" I said webbing his mouth shut. He tore off the webbing. "Gross!" Isaac exclaimed. "Guys I have to tell you something." "First who is she?" Isaac asked pointing to Gwen. "I'm his girlfriend, Gwen." Gwen answered. "Girlfriend?" Scott asked. "Yes it's when a boy loves a girl and asks her to go out with him." "I know what it is jackass." Scott said throwing a pen at me that I caught. "Anyway, I need to tell you guys something about the creature." "The Kanima?" Derek asked. "It's not a Kanima!" "What do you mean it's not? Of course it is." "No it's not. I would know because 4 hours ago I followed Lizard to his hideout. His name is Dr. Curt Connors. He doesn't have his right arm. He works well...worked at Oscorp researching ways to make humans a better species. Making us have the ability to regenerate on a cellular level. To fight off all forms of cancer. He wanted to regrow his right arm. He studied in the field of reptiles because, reptiles can do something that any human being could possibly dream of...they can regrow limbs. So he created a serum mixed with reptilian DNA and injected it into himself. He grew his arm back most likely but I don't think becoming a giant 9 foot tall lizard was what he was aiming for." I explained.

"So...a scientist who is missing his right arm injected a serum that contained reptilian DNA to try and regenerate his missing arm and consequently became a giant lizard. Why not?" Isaac said. "Here is where you guys are going to go nuts...I'm taking him down...alone." "WHAT?! PETER YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS?! MY DAD STILL THINKS YOU'RE SOME NUTJOB IN A UNITARD!!" Gwen exclaimed. "Gwen I already told you about me doing this. I'm the only one capable of defeating him." "Now you have us. Peter." "For once...guys let me protect your asses. Gwen's dad is the captain of the NYPD, who thinks that Spider-Man is a no good criminal and an idiot that doesn't know what he is doing. I'm going to prove him wrong." I said. I froze for a second of silence. I tore off my clothes to reveal my Spider-Man suit and slipped the mask on. "Duty calls." I said and jumped out the bedroom window. "Peter!!" Gwen yelled. I hadn't left yet and lowered myself using my web. I was upside down. "You didn't think I'd leave without a kiss did ya?" I asked. I tore my mask off and kissed Gwen. "Now I got people to save." I said slipping my mask back on. I swung from light pole to light pole.

"He's gonna get himself killed isn't he?" Derek asked. "Knowing Peter most of my life...I would say that's a definite yes." Scott said. I sighed staring out the window waiting for Peter to come back.
