TWO YEARS LATER
Stiles POV
So I was a supernatural now. A Phoenix to be specific. Meaning...I can officially die and come back. Does that mean I'm immortal now? Sure why not. Might need to change my hero name though. I was thinking the Spider Fire...yeah...maybe I won't change the name. Besides, we haven't discovered if the Phoenix has any other supernatural ability besides self-resurrection. So, it's safe to say that Spider-Man is still in business. Sometimes I win easily. Sometimes...not so much. But good thing is...if I die...I know I can come back. Felicia and I are still together and I forgave Isaac and Cassie. Since I moved on and started a relationship with Felicia. Sometimes I have to play Cat and Mouse with Felicia during "work hours." But I find it fun and different than the usual one-on-one hero vs villain thing I used to. So far...I've only won twice. I never realized it before but she's really freaking hard to catch. Scott and the others went back to Beacon Hills and I live in the Avengers facility with well...the Avengers. Tony made good with his word with me being an Avenger and all. I go with them on missions. I go with Steve and Natasha. I help Tony in the lab with new updates on his suits and my own. And get this...I was invited to Tony and Pepper's wedding. How cool is that?! I forgot to mention. Isaac stayed behind with me to be with Cassie. Now that I've gotten over the whole cheating-on-my-girlfriend thing, the two of us formed a sort of brotherly bond like what I've got with Scott. It's helpful with a werewolf around. At least I can count on Isaac to protect Cassie and Felicia when I'm away on missions with the Avengers. Because you know I'm an Avenger now. Okay, calm down Stiles. You've only mentioned that like 3,000 times.
I sat in the living room with the Avengers, Felicia, Cassie, and Isaac at Avengers tower. Apparently, Stark wanted two HQs. One for main base and the second for quick and easy deployment. "So...how does your dad feel now that you decided to live in New York permanently?" Isaac asked sitting next to me. "You know how my dad is. At first, he didn't know what to say but then he came around and now he's alright with it." I said with a shrug. There was a slight buzzing my head. Sounds of car crashes and people screaming rang in my head. I stood up. I tapped the silver bracelets on my wrists and my spider suit shot out and enveloped me. "Karen. Duty calls." I said walking to my personal balcony. "Where do you think you're going, Web-head?" A girl said from behind me. I turned to see Felicia in her cleavage-revealing black bodysuit. "Work." I said jerking a thumb behind me. She rolled her eyes. "Without a good-bye?" She asked. "Right." I said with a nod. The mask retreated into the suit before she slammed her lips into mine along with her tongue. She pulled away before things got a little out of hand. "That's a sneak peek for later." She said winking. My eyes widened as the mask covered my face again. She walked away gracefully. "Stiles...aren't you supposed to be getting somewhere?" Karen said. "Right!" I shouted too loud running off the balcony and jumping off with a scream. "That was some kiss, Stiles." Karen said. "Is there ever a time when you don't watch everything I do?" I asked her. "Nope. That's one of my amazing qualities." Karen said. I scoffed. "I tink you meant one of your more annoying qualities." I said swinging to Times Square where I saw cars being thrown into the air at me. "Hey! Sorry to tell you this but street performers don't usually throw cars at people." I said landing on the hood of a car. "Ah...Just the guy I was looking for." The man said. "Uh, excuse you. The name is Spider-MAN not Spider-GUY." I said. "Norman was right. You are annoying." The man said. "I'm sorry who are you exactly?" I asked dodging a metal...leg? "The name is Otto Octavius. But you can call me...Doctor Octopus." He said rising into the air turning away from me on four metallic legs. "I'd say that is the coolest thing I've seen so far." I said tilting my head. He looked back at me as a metal leg did the same. "Catch me if you can, Spider-Man." Doctor Octopus said.
"There ya go! See is that so hard? Doc Ock. Can you call you that?" I said swinging after him. "No certainly may not call me that." He replied. I chuckled. "Oh yeah. I TOTALLY calling you that from now on. Doc Ock." I said. "Do you ever shut up?" "Of course I do. Between the hours of 11 PM and 10 AM. On normal days. On weekends, 1 AM to 12 PM." I said jokingly. "God you're annoying." He said. "Thanks." I said swinging around the corner. "You know I see the two of us becoming great friends in the future. Don't you?" I asked as he climbed up a wall. "No. I don't. What I see is you dead on the side of the street." He replied. "Ouch. That hurt my little Spidey heart." I said running up the wall. I love my job. This guy probably don't but I do. Now...if you'll excuse me. I have an eight-limbed human mollusk to put in an aquarium. I mean prison. Hmm, I wonder if Stan's Sushi Bar is still having the I-Saved-Your-Store-Multiple-Times discount going on?
