Chapter Nineteen: I want to rip her-
Lunch finally rolled around and I felt myself become sadder as the day came to an end.
Kevin was stuck to my side like glue and kept making immature jokes to try and cheer me up, but the thing was I didn't know why I was sad.
After first period, I stopped being angry with Peter because he had his own reason for not wanting to be around me.
Nicholas and Owen tried explaining his thinking process on things, and I told them how he found me in a bra and shorts which is normal for a girl to workout in.
Owen, however, had a different perspective on it trying to think like Peter, saying how he's never watched porn or seen a girl in anything other than baggy clothes so he probably freaked out.
Elise apparently dressed in ripped loose clothing way back when Peter's crush started, and so he wasn't use to seeing so much skin.
After that conversation, they went back to talking mad shit about the person she's become and how she was a little devil freshman year.
They were like my inside to every dirty secret on Elise, and that cheered me up a little learning that she's only hot now because one of the popular girls left the group she was apart of and gave her a glow up.
When lunch period started, Owen and Nicholas walked me to the table where Kevin sat alongside a pretty black haired girl.
Sydney.
"Your flavor of the day has changed to trash?" Nicholas quizzed taking a seat.
I snorted sitting in between him and Owen, pulling out the brown sack Holly packed for me.
"Sydney is not trash," Kevin told us, tucking her bangs behind her ear.
Sydney blushes, bringing a hand up to her mouth and giggling.
"You're right," Nicholas pauses, munching on a carrot.
"She's recycling cause after your done fucking instead of throwing her away you'll reuse the poor girl." Owen finished, shaking his head.
Nicholas tsked a few times and then nudged my shoulder, smiling at me.
"Cheer up Hail Bail, you look prettier when you smile," Owen chimes in.
I furrow my brows and turn to him, smacking his shoulder.
"What do I like right now?" I asked, pouting at him.
"Cute," Kevin blurted out, and Sydney gasped standing up and hitting his back.
Kevin raised his hands as he continued to eat the potato chips.
"What?" He called, facing the now upset black haired girl in heeled boots.
"You're cheating on me!" She whined, crossing her arms.
I laughed with Owen and Nicholas, when Peter finally joined us, Elise attached at his side.
I glared at her as she raised a brow and smiled, stroking his bicep.
"How I want to rip her-" I started, feeling my body lurch forward just as Owen and Nicholas held me back.
"Stop it, you look better when you're all zen," Nicholas commented.
"What do I look like when I'm mad?" I joked, completely ignoring the plastic standing in front of us.
"Sexy," Owen answers, winking at me.
Peter finally sat down next to Kevin and Sydney, leaving Elise a little room to squeeze in next to him.
"So Sydney, Peter agreed to come to the party tonight!" Elise bragged, scooting closer to the guy across from me.
He smiled awkwardly and then met my gaze for a second before looking down with furrowed brows.
"Wait, what?" Owen said, leaning forward on the lunch table.
"But we have that meeting tonight..." Kevin trailed, raising his brows and glancing between all the boys.
What meeting?
Peter gave him a weird look and then as if he understood what he was talking about, threw his head back and groaned.
"I can squeeze it in today, we can just have it after I drop Bailey off," He mumbled, rubbing his hands over his face.
I leaned into Owen and tapped on his shoulder grabbing his attention.
"What meeting?" I asked him, watching Nicholas shake his head at Owen.
'Don't tell her,' He mouthed.
"Owen," I challenged, putting my hand on his inner thigh and giving him an innocent look.
"Tell me," I smiled, whispering into his ear.
He moaned, shivering under my touch and then gave in finally after Nicholas told him not to.
"It's for the Evaders,"
The what?
"Huh?" I asked, taking my hand off his leg.
Nicholas and Kevin both shook their head as an oblivious Peter continued talking to an annoying Elise.
"It's not my place to tell you," He answered, looking between Nichols and Kevin.
"You already did, dummy,"
Owen just shrugged and I huffed our for irritation, not bothering to finish the rest of my lunch before the bell rang.
Once it did though, I threw it away even though there was plenty of food in it and stormed out of the high school deciding I should ditch when Peter caught my wrist.
"Where are you going?" He asked, his brows scrunching together.
I glared at his hand, shaking my arm out of his hold in an aggressive motion making him flinch.
"None of your business," I mocked, walking towards the car with him following behind.
Peter sighed, running to my side and then grabbing my hand to spin me back towards him.
"Bailey," He groaned, hanging his head back and shaking my arm like a three-year-old.
God, what'd I'd give to hear him moan my name repeatedly.
"I'm serious Peter, piss off," I fussed, wanting him to let go but not doing anything that would make him.
He stared at me, a sad look in his eyes before slowly dropping my forearm and then holding his hands up while backing away.
"Fine," He said quietly and then turned around walking back to the school.
I felt myself start to get tears in my eyes and also wanting to punch something for no fucking reason.
Peter's figure became smaller and smaller as he was approaching the school and I moaned stomping my foot.
"Peterrrr!" I cried out, shaking my body from being so frustrated.
He stopped walking and then faced me, slowly coming back while my insides became jittery.
I was so excited for no reason and then started crying once he was right in front of me with a worried face.
"What's wrong?" He laughed out as I shook in place.
"I don't knowww," I cried out, smacking his shoulders with both my fists.
He grabbed onto my hands and held them, jerking me towards his body when I felt my underwear become damp.
Fuck.
My period.
