Chapter Twenty-Two: He's cute but also a douche

"You're so badass for ditching Peter like that," Sydney tells me as she steps harder on the gas.

Speeding was my favorite thing to do in a car, other than sex but that's beside the point.

I knew saying that shit to Peter about kissing him was wrong because he's literally in love with another girl, but I just couldn't help myself.

My period had me feeling head over heels for him more than ever and I couldn't stand being around a guy that attractive and not jumping his bones.

So I skipped out of the lesson and decided to go out to a party with Sydney instead.

"Do you know who's gonna be at the party tonight?" I asked, even though Elise and Peter were for sure going to be there.

The plan was to either get so high that I was tripping or get so drunk I'd black out and hopefully not do anything I shouldn't.

Or stay sober and be a bitch.

Not that there's anything wrong with being sober. I respect people who have enough of a conscious to not rely on drugs or alcohol to have fun.

I was just feeling really weird today after the whole Peter thing that I wanted to get fucked up and have fun.

"Uh, well Elise and our other friend Natalie are obviously coming because it's tradition to have a back to school party here in Sunset Valley. Oh and then Peter, of course. But don't worry sis, I know who I can set you up with." Sydney shoved my shoulder lightly with a smile.

I prayed that she would find me another guy, anyone to help relieve the feeling that I was choking on my own heartbreak.

And here I thought I was the one that'd hurt Peter when it was really the other way around.

REMEBER THE SEDUCTION PLAN!!

Right... that plan.

I might have to alter it a tad bit, just for my sake.

"I think Kevin is single if you wanna go after one of Peter's friend but I also wouldn't recommend cause one there's the risk of STDs and two you don't wanna taint your rep," She suggested.

Sydney was actually a really nice person.

Earlier after I had left school, I saw she requested to follow my spam on Instagram and so I accepted it and then from there we just DM'd each other.

Despite the fact that Elise was her best friend, Sydney said she felt bad for how her old friend group treated her and decided that she needed a change.

But it ended up stabbing her in the back because now Elise was the one 'in charge' and made her feel worthless even though she was the one who helped her with being popular.

I pitied Sydney for this because she was so pretty and had a good personality from what I could tell, yet she stuck with Elise because she was her only friend.

Natalie was apparently the second best bitch and was constantly putting Sydney down for no reason.

Fuckin' bitch.

"We're here," Sydney sighed unbuckling her seat belt and removing the keys from the ignition.

I stared at the somewhat nice 2 story house in front of my eyes and scoffed because I knew the palace back home was way nicer.

Not tryna be cocky or anything but it was true.

I was raised with a silver spoon in my mouth and treated like shit by my own blood, but ngl I still had expensive taste and knew what looked good.
