Chapter Twenty-Seven: Bailey Knows
It was around seven in the morning, and I had woken up to someone throwing up near me.
As I jerked up in my bed I felt a wicked headache pound inside my brain, and my stomach churn.
Owen was hunched over on my floor, holding himself up over my trashcan with spit stringing from his mouth.
"You good man?" I ask him, stifling a laugh.
He shooed me away, and I stood up running a hand through my hair and grabbing the plastic bottle of water from the nightstand downing the small red pill.
The room began to reak of vomit and I scrunched my nose, heading for the door.
In the distance, I heard someone else throw up, but it wasn't any of the guys lying on the ground.
Bailey.
"I'll be back," I tell Owen.
He nods slowly squeezing his eyes shut, and then I leave making my way to her door.
As I get closer I hear her throwing up violently and I cringe.
She did drink a lot more than me from what I remember and was told, but she also smoked a lot more.
Henry usually gets the laced shit so who knows what's going through her body.
Her body...
Yummy.
Gross, stop it, Peter.
My hand turns the knob and I slowly push open the door seeing her lying over the toilet in the bathroom.
She hadn't closed the door, probably not expecting me to come barging in like always so when she noticed my presence she jumped a little.
"How you doin'?" I chuckled.
Don't laugh idiot.
Bailey groans, opening her mouth to say something but then lurches forward and throws up again.
I wince and then quickly crouch beside her to hold the loose hair out of her face.
When she stops vomiting and is just spitting what's in her mouth out I start rubbing her back and she freezes.
"I'm sorry, this is not the prettiest sight," She apologizes and I smile.
For the next few minutes I stayed by her side until she threw up so much she passed out.
I ran down the stairs quietly trying not to wake anyone up, so I could grab some Advil for her.
Opening the cabinet, I poured two white pills into my hand and was about to head upstairs when I noticed a light was on in the office.
Being the nosy ass I am, I crept towards the room with the small lamp on and saw my mom on the phone with someone.
"I see the way he looks at her, so I know sooner or later they're gonna get really close and she's gonna break his heart." She hisses into the mic.
My brows furrow and I slowly take a few steps closer to the door.
"I don't care if she's supposed to stay here until you figure things out with them, I will always put my child first-"
"They went to a party, Helena! He got drunk! I've got a group of acholhol poisoned kids upstairs!"
I snort and then walk back upstairs, careful not to make any noise.
