Chapter Thirty-Four: Don't take this personal but just looking at you makes me wanna do shit I shouldn't
After Peter had left, I pulled out the duffle I had stuffed under my bed when I first arrived and starting packing.
I knew I was being over dramatic and actually running away but it didn't matter.
Holly was down my throat about not having a thing with Peter, Nicholas was on my ass about breaking the contract, and Elise was turning Peter against me.
The bitch probably said something to him and that's why he came at me about whatever plan I was doing and getting with his friends.
It's not my fault he had attractive best friends, and I have self-control so I don't know what he was talking about.
My packing got more aggressive as these thoughts swirled through my mind, and I realized I needed a place to crash or squat.
I already knew I was gonna place hop because Sam came to mind and he would just wanna fuck, but I wasn't gonna stay at his house for however long I was gonna be gone for.
Everything I would need on a day to day basis was packed in the duffle along with my wallet in case I needed to get stuff.
Let's do this.
Driving cars was against the contract but I already gave Sydney a ride to Kingston's house, so I didn't care at this point.
I stole the keys to Peter's car and then quietly unlocked the front door, noticing a light was on downstairs.
In the distance, I recognized Holly's voice and saw that she was on the phone with someone, but as long as she was distracted I knew this was my chance.
Not bothering to leave a note, I blew a quick breath and booked it out the door darting to Peter's car.
"I'm actually doing this," I breathed out, sticking the keys into the ignition.
Knowing I could get caught at any moment made me start the car and speed out the driveway, taking off down the street.
I could've taken Syd's car but she needed that to get home and I also could've walked but for the sake of my feet and getting mugged I chose not to.
Sams house wasn't too far from Peter's but now that I thought about it I could just crash in the car.
Holly could also report this as stolen and me running away would cause some trouble too so I should actually find somewhere to crash and ditch the car.
Queen Helena never cared much when I would pull things like this, in fact, she let me stay out for weeks.
It seems that I've surrounded myself with some fuck ass people.
Shitheads.
I sighed driving off into the pitch black darkness that made it hard to see, but luckily headlights were a thing.
It wasn't long till I found myself sitting in the car out front of Kevin's duplex.
How did I know where he lived?
Sydney left his address under his contact info when we were at the party cause she thought we could prank call him and then TP his house.
I was pretty sure he was still at Peter's house, and I didn't care.
The plan was to just wait for him to come home and then sneak in through the window or something IDK.
So I listened to my R&B playlist and reclined the seat, waiting for Kevin...
