Chapter Forty-Six: What do we do?
I lost.
Amelia had teased me so much that I got really worked up and well yeah.
Her reaction made me really embarrassed and I had plans to get back at her when she least expected it.
But right now I needed to catch up with the guys and figure out my plan of action.
My mom was going to send Amelia back to England if we didn't find her passport, and despite the fact that Elise and I didn't date that long I felt like I knew her long enough to kind of see this as something she would do.
After I left Amelia's room with a boner and no kiss, I went downstairs to my mother's office to try and reason with her about how long Amelia could stay for but she was nowhere to be found.
strange... my mom never left the house to go anywhere these days.
I shrugged it off and decided to group chat with the boys on facetime.
"What's yo bro?" Kevin answered, setting his phone against his desk.
Nick and Owen both joined after a few seconds and I paced back and forth in the office.
"Guys I'm really freaking out right now and usually I take this shit like a man but I also have blue balls and a shit ton of adrenaline going on so I'm shaky as fuck-"
"Woah, Woah, Woah, what's going on?" Kevin questioned.
"Blue balls?" Owen laughed out.
"Damn, you gotta put a leash on Bailey bro," Nick chuckled.
Bailey.
That's when I remembered they didn't know anything about the situation, other than Elise moving in, Amelia running away and them bringing her back.
"Oh shit, I forgot you guys didn't know," I mumbled.
Kevin furrowed his brows, and the call went silent.
"Don't know what..." Owen trailed.
If I told them about Amelia, I would be risking more only her safety but all of theirs. But at the same time then we would have more people to be on the lookout.
I would also be going behind her back, and my mothers by telling them and I could get in trouble.
There wasn't really a good option here, other than not saying anything but then what was the purpose of this call?
Fuck it.
"I have a lot to tell you guys which could risk all of your lives but at the same time your my homies and I trust you all," I say.
"Some more than others," I quietly mumble.
"Heard that," all of them tell me.
"Anyways, get on with the news!" Nick yells.
"So you know about that princess in England right? And how her face was always kept out the tabloids because that assassin was in the united states?" I ask them.
They all nod and I continue.
"Well that princess is actually Bailey, and she was sent here because of all the murders that had been happening in her country, and now her passport is missing so she's gonna get sent back but that means someone else knows her identity!" I exclaim with wide eyes, palming my face.
The boys take a minute to respond and I don't blame them.
That was kinda a lot of information but not really.
Oh, I almost forgot!
"Also she and I have an arranged marriage because I'm apparently a royal as well?"
They all took a moment before responding, which was understandable but at the same time, I didn't know how any of them were going to react to all of this.
"Did you die?" I ask them, seeing as they were all on pause.
"I'm sorry what did you say?" Kevin responded.
"Yeah, I wasn't really listening..." Owen trailed.
"You're kidding!" I exclaimed, facepalming.
At this point, someone had knocked on my door and then opened it, so I turned my head and saw that it was my mother with Amelia behind her.
My brows furrowed and I muted the call before examining both of them some more because Amelia looked like she had been crying and my mom was concerned.
Oh shit, this can't be good.
"Peter you need to end that call right now," My mom told me sternly.
I opened my mouth to speak some more and defend myself but she held up a hand and closed her eyes.
"Peter you there?" Nick asked.
"Yeah, guys I gotta let you go..." I said a little forced.
"Wait what about what you were just talking about?" Kevin interrupted.
Mom glared at me and Amelia shook her head mouthing 'no'.
"Just forget I said anything," I mumbled before hanging up and then stuffing my phone into my back pocket.
"Do you have any idea what you just did?!" My mom questioned in a mad tone.
I shrugged and then looked behind her to watch Amelia, and she just crossed her arms and looked down at the floor.
"You must really want Amelia to leave by exposing her like that," My mom stated, pointing her finger at me.
"That is not why I was telling the guys," I explained.
"Oh really? Then why-"
"So that we had more help figuring out who took her passport and she could stay!"
"Honest to God, Peter. That makes zero sense!"
"No it does because they know more people than I do, and they're good and discreet when they manipulate others-"
"Manipulate!" She laughed.
"Seriously mom, for once can you just be on my side!" I groaned.
"I'm always on your side!"
"Don't be ridiculous, you're either attacking me or complaining about something or-"
"That is not true!"
We bickered back and forth until Amelia screamed at us to stop and was on the verge of just bursting into tears.
Both mom and I stopped mid-argument and just stared at her small frustrated figure.
"Were all under a lot of stress right now, and it's better to be on the same side than point fingers." She stated.
"What Peter did might have been dumb but it was also smart in some ways because he is right, we don't want a lot of people to know about my identity because it does put others at risk, in a way though his friends knowing isn't the worst thing! It helps us figure out who has my passport but the plan has to be smart so it isn't obvious or random when they ask." She explained.
Mom and I nodded at each other both inhaling a deep breath before taking a seat on my bed.
"So then what do we do?" I finally say.
Mom sighs looking in between me and Amelia and then speaking. "We find who has her passport and then take care of it,"
