I had been back and forth on the phone with some niggas trynna figure out what went wrong tonight and who did it. Nobody had answers for me yet.
It really hard sitting in that lobby just waiting on an update. Rashad and Ant's moms are restless, Amour is an emotional wreck. We all needed God at this point.
Talia came standing outside with me "You good?"
"Two of my closet friends is laid out with bullets in them. I'm no where near good" I told her
She sighed "Ty-"
"It should've been all three of us laid out. I was so damn caught up with Lisa's ass, man it was too late to react." I told her
My phone rang and it was Lisa for the 5th time. I threw my phone down smashing it.
Talia walked up to me grabbing my hands "It shouldn't have been none of y'all. Tonight should have never went down like this"
"All we can do right now is pray Ty. You gotta keep your head on straight though, we all need you right now" She rested her hand on the side of my face
I closed my eyes trying to calm down just as one single tear went down my face. I ain't never cried infront of no female.
"Come on, let's sit down" Talia said pulling me to a bench outside "Fresh air does the body good"
She wiped my tear away "You know if Rashad or Ant saw you crying right now they'd be clowning you"
I chuckled lowly "Man fuck what them niggas gotta say bout me crying"
I looked at her "What if them niggas don't make it?"
She sighed "Then We gotta handle things accordingly. But we not thinking like that"
"Shad got a lil girl and Amour and his mom. And you know Ant basically supported his mom and little brother. Shit would be hectic without them" I said
She rubbed my back "If something was to happen, you know we handle things for their families. That's why you gotta stay so strong"
We sat in silence for a lil while and she rubbed my back comforting me.

I can't even lie, If i was to loose my cousin or a Ant. I'd be so hurt, but I know they'd want things still taken care of.
"I'm supposed to be the one comforting you" Ty joked
I smiled "Sometimes even the hardest thugs need to be babied from time to time"
"And plus this isn't the first sticky situation like this, I've found myself in. You forgot I clean up all you guys messes when y'all do what y'all do" I told him
He nodded "Shit I had forgot about that"
"I guess you can say I got kinda accustomed to it. Plus with all the killing and shoot outs, I've seen since we were kids." I explained
"We did used to be in some fucked up shit all the time" He laughed lowly
"Remember that time we were at the house party and the two DJ's started fighting over who's music mix was better and then they started shooting. Which resulted in other niggas shooting-" he cut me off
He chuckled "And i had to carry your ass out the party cause your feet hurt from them heels you had on"
Ty had always been my knight in shining armor. Him and Rashad saved my ass from so much shit. Ty had even put bitches to sleep when they tried to jump me.
"You remember what you said to me? When we made it back to your car" I asked
He looked at me raising his eyebrow.
I sighed "I mean you might not, I understand if you-"
He cut me off "That I'd protect you and love you no matter what, big head"
We both laughed at the big head part. He really called my head big.
"And that shit still applies" He added
I stared at him. Ty was always a crush of mine. We just always worked together and just always had that good friend bond.
He looked up at me and then down to my lips. He put his hand on the side of my face pulling me to him and kissing me.
After a few moments I pulled away "What about Lisa?"
"She never had my back like you do" He pulled me back and we just kept kissing
"Talia did you get lost out he-" Tae spotted us
I pulled away and Ty looked at me licking his lips.
"Imma go check on Amour" He said smirking at me walking back into the hospital
I breathed out a breath I didn't even know I was holding in. I cant believe I'm doing all this while my cousin and his friend are laid out in a hospital bed clinging onto life.
"We can't do this right now Ty" I told him
He nodded "I know. I feel kinda bad for kissing you"
"No no no, the kiss was good"
It was damn good actually
"But I mean right now with the situation we got going on" I added
He nodded again placing a soft peck on my lips "I understand. You know I'm always right here with ya though"
We both stood up and we held hands just until we got into the hospital door.
"Rashad Johnson And Anthony Thomas family" The doctor called out just as we walked in
