Well as the weeks past, I've gotten so much done. The doctors are saying I'm good to do whatever now but still watch myself. Noel's first birthday is coming up real soon, the wedding plans are going great, Rashad has the club booming and is looking into now things to invest in. Things are finally looking up for us.
"Amour get out the clouds babe I'm talking to you" Rashad chuckled snapping me outta my thoughts
I smiled "Sorry honey what were you saying?"
"I went and looked at some places today and I think I know what i want to do next" He said
I nodded as I sat Noel in between my legs to do her hair "Okay, What is it?"
He smiled "A big ass restaurant"
I raised my eyebrow "Nigga you can't cook"
He threw his middle finger up at me "I can cook! While you were out yesterday i made me and baby girl a hell of a grilled cheese sandwich! It was good won't it Princess?"
Noel is such a daddy's girl she just agrees with anything he says.
"Wow a grilled cheese! and you didn't set off the smoke alarms? I'm so impressed!" I said joking
"Whatever man I'm a chef" He rolled his eyes laughing "But nah this for you"
"For me?" I said surprised
He nodded "You cook so damn good man. I know this is something you can do. I remember those talks we had A, i believe you can do this"
I thought back to the many times we sat up late talking about what we could've been and what we wanted to be when we were growing up. A chef is something i always thought about, I love to feed people.
My face grew hot as I was overwhelmed with joy "Really?"
He nodded his head vigorously "Hell yeah A! And you know I'll be your first customer"
I laughed "You just wanna eat!"
"Your right" he agreed "So what do you say?"
I thought for a moment and then squealed "Let's do it!"
He jumped up "Ayyyyye!"
He came and sat next to me. He picked Noel up once i finished her hair.
"I gotta make all these moves so that way you and Noel can be secure for life. Don't want y'all to never worry about a thing" He kissed my forehead
I smiled, he's always thinking of us. I love that about him.
He took Noel off his lap and sat in between us. Him and Noel were having a staring contest until she busted out laughing. Their bond is amazing.
