Twenty-Five

Over the past couple of days me and Rashad have been playing phone tag. I know that I've been busy rehearsing and he's been busy in meetings.

"Amour chin up!" The manager over the show instructed me

I've been distracted because I haven't been able to talk to Rashad.

"Do it again" She yelled to me from the stands

I walked to the back waited for my que and came back out. She stood up clapping.

"You see that ladies!! That is how a model walks! That is how you all should walk! Confident! Sexy! Bold!" She pointed at all the girls

I got off the stage and sat by Talia.

"You look great on that stage" Talia said texting on her phone

I smiled "Have you heard from Ty?"

She nodded "Everyday. why?"

"Just asking" I shrugged

Ty and Rashad should be doing the same thing. Why won't Rashad answer my calls?

I picked up Noel feeding her a bottle. She loved all the attention she was getting from everybody here. They just thought she was the cutest baby ever.

"Ready for the show tomorrow?" Talia asked nudging my arm

I sat Noel up trying to burp her "Girl I'm so excited! I can't wait to see the crowds reaction and to model with these beautiful people"

"My business finna blow and its all thanks to you. I appreciate you so much" Talia confessed

I rolled my eyes giggling "Talia your shop blew up because your a great business woman and you can promote anything"

She laughed flipping her hair "Well ya know i try"

After we sat down for awhile, i was forced to go back and practice for more hours. Once we were finally done, I was starving.

"Feed me" I whined to Talia

Tae walked out carrying Noel's car seat with Noel in it "Who is the child? You or Noel?"

I laughed "Shut up! I've been walking that runway for hours. I'm starving"

"Come on I'll treat you to some good ole' In and Out burger" Tae said smiling

That was on my to do list to eat in LA. I gotta see what all the hype is about.

We all piled into truck with the driver the fashion show people provided for us.

"To the closest In and Out burger please" I said the driver

He nodded and drove off. After about 20 minutes we pulled into the parking lot and hopped out. The place looked just as it did on Instagram. We stood in line. Talia and Tae ordered as I stood looking dumbfounded at the menu.

"Let me get a Animal Style burger with no tomatoes and no pickles. Cheese fries. With a lemonade" i ordered

The lady at the register smiled and Tae paid for the food while we took a seat. Moments later he walked over with the food, we got all ours and started eating.

"Yooooo this is just as good as i thought it'd be" i said dancing in my seat as I ate

Talia's phone rang and she answered it.

"Ayyyyye! What's poppin wit you cuz!" I automatically knew she was talking to Dave

I guess she flipped the camera on her FaceTime cause she then said "Everybody say Hi"

I looked up from feeding Noel a fry and waved at the camera and Tae waved with his burger in his mouth.

Talia handed me the phone.

"What Dave I'm trynna eat" I said stuffing my face

"Ain't models supposed to eat salad or some shit like that" he joked

I rolled my eyes "I eat what I wanna eat Nigga"

I passed the phone back to Talia and we all sat and talked to Dave until he hung up and then we finished eating and went back to the hotel room.

"I'm so full" i laid out the bed with Noel on my chest

Between the bottles of milk she had and the two fries she gummed to death, her stomach is nice and full and she's gonna be sleep real soon.

I tried to Call Rashad again and got no answer.

I patted Noel's back until she finally went to sleep. I laid her in my bed surrounded by pillows and went into the living room area.

"What you hoes in here scheming?" I asked looking at Tae and Talia sitting on the couch talking

Talia stood on the table "We playing a T'up weekend and your coming! We finna shake some asssssss"

She started twerking and Tae was hyping her up

"Bitch get your ass down before you go through that damn table. And tell me what you talking bout" I said pulling her off the table

She laughed "Man we need a break. We work so hard. You working hard and your on mommy duty. Let's go somewhere tropical!"

I shrugged "I'm game!"

"Shit! You know I'm down!" Tae said laughing "Just tell me how much"

"LETS DO IT!" Talia yelled grabbing a bottle of liquor

"Bitch we do not need you with a hangover at tomorrow show. We got too many big wigs out there for you to be showing your ass" Tae said taking the bottle from her

She laughed "Tomorrow we turn upppp"

We all high fived. Tae has music playing on his portable speaker. We all just started dancing and twerking until we need to shower and laid down to get some sleep.

I texted Rashad once I got in the bed.
