I walked into Donna's office with Talia in my heels. We sat down and had been discussing different aspects of the wedding.
"These are the two designs me and the designer put together based your ideas" Donna said pointing up her big screen on the wall
"Whoa" me and Talia said in unison as our jaws dropped
"This looks so life like" Talia said in amazement
Donna chuckled "This is the first idea of glass. The look you were going for with a high in the sky background. Very simple but very elegant. This design is absolutely stunning"
"I'm in love" I coo'd
"Don't fall in love just yet" She chuckled "This is number two"
She switched the screen to the other design
"This is the more outdoor angle you were reaching for. Still have that glass aspect you want but just more forestry." She spun the image around showing it from different angles
I could literally cry because they were both so perfect.
"I don't expect you to pick today and I'm send you home with a flash drive for you and future hubby to look at and decide. But we gotta figure out which one so we can get some of these orders in for this stuff" She said
I nodded wiping a tear "Okay, We'll figure it out"
"How's the wedding dress shopping?" She asked
Talia side eyed me
When i looked at her I busted out laughing "I haven't had the chance to go look"
"And why not?" Donna put her hands on her hips
I giggled "It has been a lot going on. My baby is about to be 1. The doctors appointments, keeping up with Rashad, i just haven't had the chance"
Donna looked at Talia "Make sure she gets her butt to a wedding dress place ASAP"
Talia laughed "I will! She's just so stubborn"
"Designers can't make dresses in 24 hours honey" Donna said pointing her pen at me
I laughed feeling like I was back in a principal office.
"I will go. Right after my babies birthday party this weekend" I insisted
"Okay Amour" Donna laughed
We ended up still talking but getting up topic by talking about Noel's big party. I was showing her pictures of the stuff me and Rashad had bought for her.
"Oh she's gonna love that! Makes me miss when my children were little ones" she rubbed her hands down her hips "Boy did they ruin my cute lil figure"
I giggled "I have to get back in the gym myself this baby weight ain't cute no more"
"Chile you look good!" Donna said smiling
We talked a lil longer before we said our goodbyes and I headed home. I walked into the house with Noel's toys all over the place and them two on the couch cuddled up watching Coco.
"Why is it that everytime I leave you with Noel, i come back and it's like a tornado went through the house?" I said giggling
Rashad looked up at me "Because we be having fun"
I picked up some of the toys as I walked over to them "Well have fun cleaning the shit up"
"Don't worry bout that, come cuddle with us" Rashad said smiling
I sat down on the couch beside Rashad and Noel popped her head up looking at me.
"Giiiiiiirl don't look at me like that, i can be on your daddy" I said laughing
Noel was giving me a mean mug. I honestly believe she thinks Rashad only belongs to her.
I kissed Rashad and she pushed my face away.
"Dada!" She held him close to her
"Girl you better back back off my man!" I said laughing
She talked her baby shit rolling her neck around.
"Whoooo you getting snappy with shorty?" I said rolling my neck
She continued to talk her baby shit. This little girl had every bit of my attitude.
"Ok ok talk yo shit then sis, imma back up off him" I said acting like i was giving up
She laughed turning her head back towards the movie.
"Y'all two is a trip" Rashad laughed
I giggled "She be hogging my man"
I laid my head on Rashad's shoulder and he held my hand as Noel laid on his chest.
I can't believe my baby will be one years old and then I'm getting married to the love of my life. This story is turning into my ultimate love story.
