"Our business people here, I'll call you later on tonight ite?" I told her she nodded
"I love you baby"
I smiled "I love you too Amour"
She hung up the phone and I went and opened the door. I was surprised to see who was at the door.
I opened the door and looked back at Ty.
"What's up man" Ty said coming to the door dapping up the couple guys
I was still stuck on one person.
"What are you doing here? I thought i told Ty you couldn't come" I told her
She pushed her hair behind her ears "I did put the furniture in your club. Even Lisa is here. She told me you'd know"
"Lisa is our realtor. You just put furniture in the place Zonnique" I told her
She rolled her eyes "I have ties to your club Rashad. I'm just here for business. Congrats on the engagement by the way"
She walked past me behind Lisa as everybody seated and situated downstairs. I pulled Ty into the kitchen.
"Nigga you didn't tell me Zonnique was still coming? I told you not to let her ass come"
"Rashad, she furnished our old club. If we decide to open a new club down here we have a contract with her furnishing company. She has to furnish the club unless you got a couple G's to freely give out" He said
"Man you know the history there" I told him
He sighed "You cheating ain't got shit to do with this money. You keep it in your pants and everything should go smoothly"
He walked away from me. I was stressed. I didn't tell Amour cause i thought Ty would take care of it. Now that Zonnique is here i can't tell her now.
I walked out the kitchen and sat down with the everybody else.
Everybody got along well, we were adding in our ideas about the business and money. Shit was going smooth.
"A club down here of y'alls would blow up. We could get it poppin" Damien said
His wife and business partner Dana said "No but seriously. Miami is a big party city. 21 and up. Best liquor in the country can be imported in for the club"
"I mean it sounds good but how would we run it all the way out here" I asked
"Just like normal business. One of you all could move out here. You could hire some people to run it for you and just fly back and forth every now and again to check on progress" Damien said
I nodded "We could do the flying back and forth for now?"
Ty nodded "I'm with that. It'll take awhile to build for sure"
We all went on talking. Food was served and I went in the kitchen to get some peace and eat. My phone vibrated. It was a text from Amour, a picture of Noel smiling big.
I smiled down at my phone as I heard heels click against the marble floor in the kitchen. I looked up to be greeted by Zonnique, she was grabbing more food.
"Where's your fiancé?" She asked
"Why?"
"Just asking. Making conversation" She said defensively
I sighed "She's modeling for my cousins shop in some big ass fashion show"
"Wow that's so cool!" She said interested
"Yeah i guess" I said taking my plate and walking back into the living room
//11:30pm
Everybody was getting ready to leave.
"Bye Rashad" Zonnique said waving and walking out the door
I turned around and walked upstairs. Once everybody left Ty came upstairs.
"Lisa still trynna be on a nigga dick" he said laughing "Man Talia will shoot me and her"
I laughed at How well he knew Talia.
"I peeped Zonnique trynna spark up conversation with you"
I shook my head "Shorty just don't know, I don't want nothing to do with her. Bad enough I gotta do business with her cause we got a contract."
"Man the contract will be over before you know it and the trip with be over even soon. Then we won't even see shorty again till we decide to build a club out here" he assured me
"Sounds good" i responded dryly
He walked out and I put my attention in my phone. Amour has posted many instasnaps of majority of what she was doing out in LA. She should be here with me. Or maybe i should be there supporting her.
