I rocked Noel's car seat with my foot as Ariel sat in my lap as me and my mom talked.
"Mom I miss him" I confessed
"Then be with him" She said "Stop playing all these damn games"
"Mom, it's just so annoying. My heart is just saying to just go ahead and be with him, work on us. But my head is just like Fuck Rashad. What am i to do?"
"I can't tell you what to, your grown" She said
I rolled my eyes "Thanks mom, your a lot of help"
She chuckled "Your too old for me to make these decisions for you. You have to do what you wanna do and I'm just here to support you on whatever you decide to do"
I sighed "Okay mom"
We talked for awhile and I took Noel to my truck and helped Ariel get in the backseat.
"Put your seat belt on Ariel" I said shut the door
I drove to my house, getting the kids out the car and walking inside. Noel was having tummy time on the floor with her toys and I was sitting on the couch with Ariel looking at birthday party things.
"See you wanna do this or that?" I pointed to the party ideas on Pinterest
"That one!" She pointed
"Girl you trynna make me break the bank. Why you so expensive?" I asked her
She giggled "Cause you are"
I don't know if she was trynna throw shade at me or not. All i could do was laugh. The door bell rang so I put her down with the laptop.
"Watch Noel" I told her
Ariel nodded watching Noel closely "Okay"
I went to the door opening it to be greeted by Rashad.
"Um hi" I said shyly
"Can i come in?" He asked
I nodded stepping to the side letting him walk inside.
"I'm not interrupting anything am I?" He asked as we walked towards the living room
I shook my head "No it's just me and the kids"
"Rashaaaaaaad!!" Ariel yelled jumping off the couch running to him
He picked her up throwing her in the air.
"Hey lil bit!" He said as he put her down
She walked back over to the laptop. And Rashad got on the floor kissing Noel's forehead and got back up.
