The last few days have been rough. I knew I shouldn't have let myself interact with Rashad. Now he's on my mind heavy, I'm missing him and what we had, i just can't get him outta my head.
"Why is nobody listening to my ass" Talia complained as I finally tuned into what she was saying
Tae was typing in his phone "Maybe cause you talk too much"
I chuckled as Talia sat on the bar stool with her arms crossed pouting.
"We just fucking with you T." I told her "You just been talking our heads off for the last two hours"
She rolled her eyes "Well i don't see y'all contributing to the conversation"
"Baby girl we heard every word you said tho" Tae said laughed "Rest your nerves, save your oxygen for lil man"
She nodded "Okay well I'm open to hear what you all have to conversate about"
Tae shrugged "Y'all know my lives"
Tae looked at me "What about you?"
I breathed out "Rashad apologized to me the other day and he's been texting me and calling me. And yesterday he sent me pink roses with this card spilling all his guts"
Tae laughed "Y'all two like a soap opera, so what you thinking now?"
I sighed rubbing my fingers through my hair "I don't know"
"Your gonna run back in his arms" Talia said chuckling
I scrunched up my face "What?! NO!......Well maybe. I miss him so much"
"So what are you gonna do?" Talia asked
Tae grabbed my hand "Pooh, just because you miss people don't mean you need them in your life. Rashad hurt you not once but twice you need to think about all of that. Has your heart healed from the hurt? Are YOU ready to progress and fix a bond that was broken? Cause it's not gonna be easy"
I breathed out fanning my eyes as the tears formed "I-I-I just don't know"
"You do know" Tae said "You don't have to be hard for us Amour. We know you"
I started crying "I do but I just don't wanna be hurt by him again"
I was trynna gather myself but the tears just kept coming.
"You gone cry or do somethin bout it?" Talia asked rubbing her stomach
I looked up at her with my bottom lip trembling "What?"
"Like I said, you gone sit here and cry or do somethin bout it?" She asked rubbing her stomach
"Why should she have to do a thing Rashad is the one that cheated he should be chasing her" Tae said
"He is chasing her. Put your listening ears on Tae" Talia said pulling on Tae's ears
Tae swatted her hands away "Bitch don't play with me"
I let them bicker for a minute while I fell into my thoughts. I did miss Rashad. I do love him. He had apologized for his actions.
Before I knew it I was getting up and grabbing my keys and my purse walking out the door.
"Amour! Amour!" Tae and Talia yelled out behind me
I got into my truck and drove off to the club. He had Noel today but he said he had work todo at the club so he'd be there for a lil while.
"Hey Amour" Kayla the bartender spoke to me
I waved "Hey girl! Is Rashad around here?"
She shook her head "He left not too long ago with the lil one. Which by the way, she's gets prettier and prettier everytime I see her!"
"Thank you, when she turns one you gotta bring your little ones to the party" I told her
She nodded "Me, the hubby and kids will be there!"
I nodded said my goodbyes and left out the club. I drove to Rashad's house, getting on the elevator going up to the condo. I reached to ring the doorbell when my phone rang. It was Tae.
"Hello" "AMOUR!" "What? What's wrong?!" "TALIA'S WATER BROKE! WE HEADED TO THE HOSPITAL!" "Oh shit! Okay I'm on my way!" "OKAY ILL SEND YOU THE LOCATION"
He hung up and just as I was about to turn on my heels. Rashad swung the door open startled to see me.
"Amour?" He said confused locking the door "What you doing here?
I grabbed Noel as she reached for me "I um, I um, I came to tell you Talia's in labor"
"Yeah I know Ty called me." He looked at me closely "Phones work. You could've just called"
"I was in the neighborhood" I lied through my teeth as I speed walked to the elevator
He took Noel in his car and I rode in my truck. Maybe this was a sign. I wasn't supposed to say anything to him. Driving behind Rashad's crazy driving self we made it to the hospital fairly quick. We ran inside getting directions from nurses to where everybody was at.
I walked up to Tae "I hadn't even been gone a hour yet, what happened?"
"She said she had to pee and then when she got up all this liquid started running down her leg and she started having some pains" He explained
Ty came out to us in the lobby.
"Is she okay?" Me and Tae said in unison
He nodded "She's Fine. Doctor said babies don't always come on their due date. Cameron is just coming today"
I squealed "Oh my god! Yay!"
"So y'all just gotta sit in chill til he come. Ite?" He said
We all nodded and then he walked away back the room.
I sat down beside Tae.
"Ooooou I'm so excited for heeeer!" I squealed
Tae chuckled "Me too but uh look"
His eyes went over to Rashad who was sitting to the side by himself playing with Noel.
"All you got us time" He said
I sighed thinking about it. I got up walking over to him.
"Do you mind?" I asked shyly pointing to the seat beside him
He shook his head "Yeah come on" ___________________ An update for you all!
