I had to take a step back away from everything. I was pacing and rocking Noel as she went to sleep with all the madness going on. My nerves were shot.
"WE GOT HER!!" I heard the rescue people yell
I jumped turning around running over to the ambulance.
"MY BABY!" Her mom cried out as they ran Amour's bloody body up to the ambulance truck
My breath was taken away at the sight of Amour.
"Rashad" my mom said snapping me out my thoughts
I looked at my mom "We're gonna Let Ava ride in the ambulance. Imma drive her car and then you drive mine to the hospital"
I nodded walking away. I strapped a sleeping Noel in her car seat and got in the car following everyone. My mind was all over the place. Amour, the people in the car who did this, everything.
We got to the hospital and we all ran out and they made us sit in the lobby. I called Talia and Ty, they were on their way up here.
"Everything is going to be okay Rashad" My mom assured me rubbing my back
I nodded as my leg shook violently. I wanted revenge, I wanted whoever did this dead. And NOW.
"Rashad!" I heard Talia yelled as she speed walked over to me
Ty followed pushing the stroller with little Cam in it. They sat down in the seats across from us.
"What happened?" Talia asked
I shrugged "Sent her to the store real quick. Some car ran her off the road, she got some real bad injuries"
I guess she could sense my emotions because she reached for sleeping Noel taking her out my arms.
"Rashad get some air" She said before sitting down rocking Noel
I walked outside sitting on the bench with my head in my hands.
"You good?" I heard Ty asked
I looked up at him. I chuckled angrily "Can you believe the last thing I told her was to take care of my car? Not i love you but to take care of my stupid car!"
He sat down "Bro, Amour knows you love her and she's going to pull through all this. She's been through too much to let this kill her"
I sighed resting my head back in my hands "When i know she's okay, I'm riding out"
"Man you got a kid. WE got kids" He said
I shook my head "Whoever did this wasn't random. They know my car. I know it Ty."
He sighed "Who would be out to get you? We've been laying low"
I shrugged "I don't know. But imma find out."
"Rashad they need you!" Talia said poking her head out the door
I speed walked inside and walked straight up to the doctor.
"Is she okay? Is she awake? How's she feeling? What's wrong with her?" I talked fastly
He sighed "We're still working on her. She's touch and go. This is honestly a miracle. But,"
The "but" made my heart stop, i instantly knew bad news was coming.
"The accident was so bad and because of some damage inside of her body. Her uterus was also damaged, we are unsure if after this she'll have kids again" He said lowly
My mouth dropped and my eyes teared up a lil. I nodded my head turning around.
"Rashad, what happened? What did he say?" Talia asked standing up walking up to me
I shook my head walking outside. I couldn't take all this bad news in one day. I sat on the bench outside as my leg shook violently.
"Rashad?" My mom and Mama A said at the same time as they walked over to me
They sat on either side of me.
"It's gonna be alright" My mom said rubbing my back
Mama A held my hand "The fact that Amour is okay and that you have the one child here is all a blessing"
Tears just fell from my eyes. I couldn't even hold them in. This really was the worst day of my life.
