When i woke up i felt the other side of the bed and Amour was gone. I jumped up.
"AMOUR!" I yelled looking around scared
"I'm downstairs!" She hollered back
I jumped up jogging downstairs looking around. Amour limped over to me.
"Hey hey calm down" she placed her hand on the side of my face "What's wrong? You okay?"
I instantly slowed my breathing down. I panicked not feeling her in the bed. Ever since her car accident my dreams about her getting hurt is horrible. I just worry about her constantly.
She kept staring at me concerned.
I nodded "I'm fine. Just was worried when you weren't beside me"
I kissed her cheek and went back upstairs to do all my morning stuff with Noel walking on my heels.
"Are you following me?" I looked down at her as she held onto my leg
I picked her standing her on the bathroom sink as I brushed my teeth and all that. We walked back downstairs as i held her hand.
"Here" Amour put a plate of food on the counter
I sighed "You know you not supposed to be up like this right"
She rolled her eyes "Rashad, i feel okay. And i have to do something. Sitting in one spot is driving me insane. I just get into these dark places ya know?"
I nodded "Yeah i understand. Whenever you need to talk I'm here tho A, don't forget that"
She nodded giving me a smile "I won't Rashad"
A silence fell on us until I opened my mouth.
"I've got an appointment with my therapist today, i don't mind taking Noel if you want me to"
She shrugged "You can, doesn't matter to me. I'll be here"
She smiled and I eyed her.
"You'll be here?"
She nodded "Yup!"
"Amour when you lie your voice gets high" i mentioned to her raising my eyebrow
She giggled "Rashad don't worry"
I sighed knowing I had to leave anyway so she'd do what she wanted any damn way. We ate and talked.
She was feeding Noel some fruit when she looked at me "Do you hate me?"
I furrowed my eyebrows "Hate you? Why would I hate you Amour?"
