We have been at this hospital for what seems like forever. I told Talia and Ty to go and also my mom she took Noel with her.
"Family of Amour" A nurse called out
Me and her mom stood up walking over to the nurse.
"You all are welcomed to go back there now, she's still in a coma but we have her stable" She said with a small smile before pointing at Amour's door
I nodded and guided mama A to the room, we walked inside.
I heard Mama A take a deep sigh as she walked over to the bed "As a parent, you never know how to prepare for calls like that"
She ran her hand down the side of Amour's pale face "I really don't know what I would've done, if this went way worst"
I stood at the foot of the bed letting Mama Ava take the seat.
"But now i can finally breathe, you are okay" She kissed Amour's hand
A silence fell over us. Every now and again i would hear Mama A whisper prayers. I just stood there staring at the love of my life. My heart shattered seeing her like this.
Amour's mom stood up "I'm going to go home, but only if you will stay with her"
I nodded "Of course, I'm not leaving"
She hugged me "I appreciate you Rashad"
We chatted for awhile before she walked out. I took her seat grabbing Amour's hand. I glanced to the side table seeing her wedding ring sit on the table in a lil baggy.
"Baby" I rubbed my thumb on her hand "You gave me the scare of a lifetime. I thought i lost you man."
I stared at her hair all over the place and ran my eyes down the tubes stuck in her body.
"When you wake up, I wanna marry you. I want our wedding so soon. I don't wanna waste another second. Want you in that beautiful dream dress you want. In the place you want. everything" i told her
I sat there talking to her for hours. I know she could hear me.
Eventually i dozed off laying my head at the edge of her bed.
"Rashad....Rashad" I jumped up looking around
"Calm down its just me crazy" Amour voice said soundly angel like
I rubbed my eyes knowing i was going crazy.
"Yo am I dreaming?" I said as I kept blinking my eyes
Mama A chuckled "Um no, I've been calling your name"
My eyes were wide "You sounded like Amour"
She laughed "I'm the mama, it would be Amour sounds like me"
She handed me a baggy "Your mom sent this with me."
It had some clothes and stuff in it.
"Thank you" i said getting up kissing Amour's forehead
I walked in the hospital bathroom Freshening up. When i was done I walked out to see Amour's mom eating some Chick-Fil-A.
She put a bag on the bed "Brought you some food too"
"I appreciate that" I said taking a seat on the other side of the bed
We both just ate in silence staring at Amour.
"She'd be about to cry if she saw her hair like this" Her mom joked
I chuckled lowly because Amour always hated her hair when it looked crazy.
She stood up taking out a brush. She brushed Amour's hair up putting in a high ponytail. Boy did she look like Noel.
"Wish she'd wake up" I confessed looking at her
"I know. But God has a plan, and we just gotta wait to see the end of it" She said
"What am i gonna do about Noel? I mean without Amour I'm lost"
She smiled "Rashad you have all of us. We're all gonna help. Noel is in good hands"
We chatted for awhile, talked to the doctors and specialist. My phone rang and I stood up.
"I have to go." I said
Amour's mom could see the look on my face "Rashad....."
"I don't wanna discuss it" i said hugging her
I kissed Amour's head and walked out the hospital room. I jumped into my mom's car that I had and drove off. I pulled up to the spot, walking inside.
"What's good Trip?" I said dapping him up
After me and Ty left out the game, I gave it all to Trip.
"What's up man? How's Amour?" He asked
I sighed "There's progress"
"I'm praying for y'all man" He nodded
I shook off the sad thoughts "What you got for me man?"
He sat in a chair "The homie from down the street owns a chop and mechanic shop. Shorty you used to fuck with brought her car in there wanting damages to be fixed. Damages that were clearly from the accident"
"What Shorty?" I had to think of all the bitches I had in the past
He sighed "Man that bitch with the weird name and blue hair. Monique....Dominque"
"Zonnique" i spat
He snapped his fingers "HER!"
My blood boiled.
"Man I'm down for a ride. Take that bitch off the earth." He said "But you, YOU got a kid and family now. You don't need to-"
"People gotta stop telling me what I NEED to do. She almost ended my wife's life. She took any future child I could have away from me. I want her dead." I said spazzing
"And imma be the one that ends her life" I said rubbing my hands together
