I was with Talia at Dave's recording studio as his business managers were there and it was some things we had to discuss. Dave has work to do in the studio and we were okay with meeting his business people there.
"Pleasure to meet you Amour, Talia and Dave talk a lot about you" His accountant stuck out her hand
I shook it and smiled "All good things I hope"
"Only good things to say" Talia assured me
The account unfolded her folders showing us different papers up our money trail.
"So we have the money for you in these accounts, every two weeks we will deposit the money into the shipping companies account and they will send you the merchandise as quickly as possible. You will then be able to receive your profit from the merchandise being sold and send us the percentage we all agreed upon back to this account" she explained
Talia nodded "My finance people need copies of banking information for accounts we will be sending the money to"
Dave's accountant nodded "We can fax those over immediately. You will have them by the end of the day"
I zoned out from what they were talking about because it did not include me. I bobbed my head to the sound of the beat that was repeatedly playing in the studio.
"You feel the music?" His producer asked waving my over to the studio chair
I got up sitting beside him chuckling "I may have a slight thing for music"
"Been working on this beat for two days now, what you think?" He asked
I continued to listen "put like a flute or something like that sound in it"
I could feel Dave starring at me from the inside of the booth.
"Yooooooo that's hot!!" The producer said grinning he stuck out his hand "I'm Cash"
I shook his hand "Amour"
"I think we gotta hit" Cash spoke into the microphone at Dave "Ready when you are for the chorus"
Dave adjusted his headphones and stood by the microphone signally Cash to play the beat and record him rapping.
As the beat played, Dave's rugged voice came out matching it perfectly.
"How you a gangster when you went to court And you told them everything you knew? (everything you knew) How you gon' diss us when I got my hitters They watching everything you do? (watching) I did it to get out of the hood, on hood I want everything in blue (on hood) I was just tryna get paid, all this shit that's coming, I never knew (aye)"
I bobbed my head to the sound. Once he stopped Dave out the studio smiling.
"Maaaaan why they got yo goofy ass at my sound table" He joked with me
Cash laughed "Actually she made the beat sound 10X hotter"
I rolled my neck at him "Thank you very much!"
Dave shoo'd me off "So you a lil producer now huh?"
"Imma jack of all trades" i laughed shrugging
Talia walked up to us "Hey Dave"
Dave dapped her up "Hey Talia"
"What y'all getting into today?" Talia asked
"Working Nigga" Dave responded laughing "Gotta get it working on this album, videos, all that"
Talia nodded "Busy body. Well we got photo shoots to do for new merchandise. So if you free slide by, we could always use more males to model the male stuff now"
He nodded with a smile "Yeah I'll slide on y'all later"
We both nodded and said our goodbyes before leaving.
"Hungry?" I asked Talia
She looked at me nodding "Of course"
"Come on lets go pick something up before the shoot" I told her climbing into my car
// Hours later
"Amour you have an ass! Poke it out!" Talia clapped and yelled at me laughing
I showed her my middle finger before continuing to pose differently.
"Yesssss ma'am" Tae squealed
"Damn y'all gone start the shit without my ass" Dave walked in laughing with his friend shooter right behind him
"Jump your ass in, the shit needs to be finished soon" Talia said pushing him into my shoot
"We'll do a sit down pose with you two" Our photographer said getting up "Dave sit, and Amour sit behind him kind of leaning on him"
I got in position like he wanted.
"Shooter take these pics so I can upload them on IG for the fans" Dave said tossing Shooter his phone
As we posed differently the cameraman and Shooter snapped pictures of us. And within a hour and a half, we were done. I switched into my regular clothes and walked out to everyone.
"Going home?" Talia asked
I nodded "Gotta go make dinner for your greedy cousin"
She rolled her eyes laughing "Kiss my baby for me"
I nodded "I will."
"Bye Amour" Dave said with a smile looking up from his phone
I waved walking towards the door "Bye Dave, it's always a pleasure working with you. Bye Shooter"
I got into my truck, went and picked up Noel from Rashad's mom house and then went home. I had Noel strapped in on my chest bouncing around as i dug through the cabinets for what i wanted to eat.
I whipped together some baked Macaroni and cheese putting it in the oven along with some dinner rolls, collard greens with neckbones, and pot roast with potatoes and carrots.
"Oooou daddy is gonna eat good tonight" I said giggling to Noel who was very content just staring up at me
"Hey pretty baby. Pretty baby" I coo'd to her
She giggled, giving me a smile full of gums. After about 30 minutes of dancing around with Noel and the food was done. The front door slammed shut.
I walked to the door "Hi honey"
"What's up" Rashad responder blandly
He took Noel off my chest greeting her with kisses. He walked over putting her down in the play crib we set up for her.
"Letmme holla at you" Rashad motioned for me to come sit down
