"How you feeling Pooh?" Talia asked as she burped Cam
I shook my head "I feel weak, but I guess that's to be expected"
"How about mentally?" She asked
I sighed trying not to cry "I feel at rock bottom. Like maybe i was supposed to die that night"
Talia's eyes got wide "Don't EVER say that shit again!"
I sighed again "This road to recovery is just gonna be so much on me and Rashad"
"Amour, we all are here to help you. God made sure you could stay on this earth for a reason. Don't question that okay?"
I nodded looking at lil baby Cam. I could never give Rashad the son he wants. I shook the feeling off.
"Lil Cam is so big now" I said with a small smile
She chuckled "And eats like a grown man. I don't know what imma do what he gets older, he's gonna eat me out of house and home"
I laughed and clutched my stomach as it caused pain.
"Hey hey just rest" Talia said rubbing my leg
I laid my head back looking up at the TV. I can't even laugh. This really is the worst.
Two weeks Later....
"Rashad I am fine" i said walking down the stairs
He trailed behind me holding my waist "The doctor said-"
I cut him off "The doctor can truly kiss my ass okay? I can do things on my own"
Rashad and The doctor have been preaching to me to just stay in bed but I can't. I'm a busy body. I need to be up and moving.
I walked over to the couch "See look imma sit still now"
I reached for my laptop opening it up.
"Mama! Mama! Mama! Mama!" Noel yelled at me with her arms up from the edge of the couch
I laughed "Who are you yelling at lil girl?"
I leaned over picking her up and putting on the couch beside me.
"Huh? Huh? Who you yelling at?" I tickled her and she fell out laughing and screaming
"Amour be careful! I don't want her to kick you in any of your sore spots" Rashad mentioned from the kitchen looking at me
I rolled my eyes "I think daddy thinks I'm a baby"
She giggled. I eyed my beautiful baby girl. She has grown in all the time I was out of it. Her black curly hair is gorgeous! Her fat cheeks and little tan. I'm so sad I missed parts of her growing up.
"Rashad" i motioned for him to come to me
He plopped down "What's up beautiful?"
I smiled "Did you mean what you said?"
He looked confused "uh yeah. You do need to be careful with Noel, i don't want her to kick-"
I cut him off laughing "Not what I'm talking about"
He blinked at me "Then what are you talking about?"
"About wanting to marry me?" I asked
He smiled "Hell yeah! I wanted to put you in a gown as soon as you woke up and got married right in that hospital!"
I chuckled "Your so silly"
"I'm very serious" he said chuckling "If that's okay with you, when the recovery is completely finished and your feeling up to be Mrs. Johnson"
My heart skipped a beat.
A smile spread across my face "Amour Johnson" i held my hand up smiling at my ring "That sounds so nice"
Rashad laughed "The Johnson's. Hey look there's the Johnson family. The Johnsons live there"
I giggled at him "Start our wedding plans?"
He nodded "As soon as your ready. I want whatever you want. You can say you want the wedding on the moon and imma go have a talk with NASA"
Me and Noel looked at him like he was crazy before laughing.
"The moons a bit far from our family I'm thinking A LOT closer" i joked
"I just want you to know it whatever you want, it's your dream wedding baby. I'm just here to cut the check and to be there in my suit. No budget no nothing. Go crazy" he said kissing my forehead
He stood up "now gimme Noel cause she needs a nap and you need your meds"
He took Noel off my lap walking upstairs. I was finally gonna get my Prince Charming.
