Never in my life had I seen a man's naked body. But today... I lost my V-card.

Wait—can I even say that? I didn't do anything. Does seeing it count as losing my virginity?

The same scene replayed in my mind like a loop as I jolted awake.

"God, Jessy, are you okay?" Leah was crouched beside me, her eyes full of concern.

"He's so big," I blurted out, stumbling out of bed. "He's so big," I kept muttering, half-dazed, pacing toward the hallway. "He's so big..."

"Jesus, Jessy, what the hell happened?" Leah grabbed my shoulders, trying to shake me into coherence.

"He's so big," I repeated again—only to stop short.

Because there, standing at the doorway, was none other than Mr. Erickson. Arms crossed. Jaw clenched. Fully clothed—but I couldn't stop my eyes from wandering down.

That part...

"Damn it! My eyes are up here!" he barked, quickly lowering a hand to cover himself, his cheeks turning a rare shade of red.

I burst out laughing. I'd never seen him look so flustered. It was glorious.

"Leah, get her out of here before I murder someone," he growled through gritted teeth.

We rushed out of his room, barely holding in our laughter.

"Oh my God, are you serious?!" Leah collapsed on the floor laughing after I told her everything. "I've never seen him blush like that. You rocked it, girl!" she howled, slapping my shoulder.

My cheeks burned, but all I could think about was the moment he tried to hide himself. So adorably awkward. So human.

Ahem.

We both jumped up as Mr. Erickson appeared again, eyes narrowed. "Gossiping, are we?" His tone was ice. "I suppose it's time to look for new employees," he added with a smirk.

Leah and I exchanged horrified looks.

"S-sorry, sir. W-we won't do it again," I stammered.

"Uh-huh. Then maybe don't laugh at your boss next time!" he snapped.

"What can I do? You were just so... big!" I flailed my arms in defeat.

Shit. My mouth betrayed me again. I slapped a hand over it.

Leah choked on her own laughter. "Sorry! Her face—just imagining how big you were—" She burst into hysterics. I joined her instantly. We couldn't stop.

"You two are so dead," he muttered, storming off with a flushed face.

"God, he's going to kill us."

"Later," I agreed, wiping tears from my eyes.

Surprisingly, he didn't fire us. Though we spent the rest of the day nervously waiting for the pink slip that never came.

"Leah, I'm heading out early," I told her.

"Alright, babe," she said with a smile.

As I walked outside, I saw Mr. Erickson's car pulling in. The windows were tinted too dark to see through. I gave a respectful bow and quietly made my exit.

On the way back home, Esme had asked me to grab milk and bread. At the grocery store, as I walked out with the bags in hand, I paused—my gaze catching someone familiar.

Andrew.

He was standing in front of an alley, speaking with an older man. I watched as the man slipped a small packet into Andrew's hand. Then Andrew disappeared into the alley.
