"So your just gonna stand there and look at me after I asked you a question?"

"Damn Kevin you sure do know how to make an entrance." Oshawn laughed and Kevin charged at him but Kaynani jumped in front of Oshawn.

"Dad relax nothing was going on, I was just tutoring Oshawn."

"Sure as hell didn't look like it from the pillows you were hitting each other with! Now move Kaynani!"

Oshawn crossed his arms and stared at him amused. "Is that what you think of me Mr. Murray? You think I'd have sex with your daughter under your roof? That's so disrespectful. If that's what I wanted we sure as hell wouldn't be here."

Kaynani turned her head and sent him a angry look, before looking back at her father. "He's joking of course dad, and yes we were having a pillow fight only because he needed to take a break from studying. My door was wide open so I wasn't hiding anything."

Kevin kept his eyes on Oshawn breathing heavily. "Why do I feel like your lying to me Kaynani? You know how disrespectful and dangerous Oshawn is, and yet you decided it was a smart decision to let him in our home. I mean I'm not surprised your gullible and clearly you need a tutor ABOUT THUGS."

Kay's heart dropped and she frowned at her father. "How could you say such a thing? You don't know anything about him dad and you sure as hell don't have a right to call me gullible! Oshawn's been here everyday since Friday and nothing has come up missing and I don't have one scratch on me so your the one who needs a tutor ON HOW TO GROW A HEART!"

His eyes widened at her. "Excuse me little g-"

"You heard me loud and clear dad. You will not disrespect me, or Oshawn when we have done nothing wrong! Just ask Marcia if you don't trust me. I can't believe you'd call me gullible, ha I guess I should expect that from someone who actually thinks I'd let a man take advantage of me. Well you should know I'm the one who actually offered to help Oshawn."

His nose flared and he pointed his finger at her. "Kaynani you will not disrespect me in my house! If you have a problem with anything I say you can get out!"

Oshawn stood behind Kaynani wondering if he should have just left. He felt bad.

Kaynani rolled her eyes and laughed. "Oh trust me dad I would, I really would. But if my mother was alive she'd be kicking you out instead."

His finger dropped. "What?"

She just scoffed and turned to Oshawn. "You should go home I know you have a game tomorrow, I'm sorry about all of this."

He opened his mouth to say something but she gave him a reassuring look so he decided against it nodding. "Goodnight Nani, and goodnight to you too Mr. Murray." He fake smiled before walking around them, heading out.

Once they heard the door close Kaynani shook her head. "I can't believe you dad. All these years I thought you were trying to protect me but you were really making me pay for my mothers death. You blame me, and the only way you could feel better about it was by getting rid of any roots I had too her."

"What are you talking about?" He asked standing up properly.

"Oh you never thought I would be curious as to why I had no other family but you? That I'd never not once ask any questions about my mother?"

"Kaynani I-"

"-Well I did! I called my grandmother, and would you believe me if I told you now I know the real reason why my mother and them 'supposedly' fell out?"
