Oshawn | Friday.

"Man what's going on between you and Kay? Cause she ain't said nothing about you and she usually talks about you all the time, or you be at the crib." Cortrell asked as he threw up another shot, Oshawn grabbed the rebound and passed it back.

"We just going through something right now."

"How y'all going through something and y'all not even dating?" Cortrell laughed as they switched places, checking the ball back to him.

Oshawn took a step back and shot a three. "That's a good question that I can't even answer. She going through something else though and I guess our lil situation just wasn't making it any better."

Cortrell shook his head and grabbed the rebound. "Y'all so damn stubborn. Like I'm not understanding why y'all just don't date. Y'all been around each other everyday since y'all started talking and I wasn't even around then to know that. We both know she like you, clearly your pinhead ass like her. But I'ma assume y'all ain't together because of you, cause Kay wear her feelings on her damn forehead."

Oshawn sighed and caught the ball when he threw it back, tucking it under his arm. "Me and Kay just different bro, but don't get it wrong I do like her. I just don't wanna move too fast, but even when I press pause that don't seem to work. I end up missing her, or I just can't stay away from her. I ain't never met a girl like Kaynani, I guess I don't know how to handle the situation all together."

Cortrell smacked his lips. "You guess? No offense bro but you sound like a bitch."

Oshawn made a face. "How?"

"Cause you clearly afraid to date her! Anybody can see that. You know how many niggas done made it on my kill list since I been here cause of how they talk about my sister? I mean these niggas want her bro, but they don't step to her cause of you."

"And they better not step to her." Oshawn shrugged making Cortrell snatch the ball from him.

"You sound stupid! You ain't gone be able to do shit when they do cause Kay ain't gone let you! She single bro and if you keep this shit up another nigga gone step up and challenge you. Then you gone be looking and sounding stupid. Kay ain't the kind of girl you just let walk out of your life, she ride or die. You can tell from the way she be tryna protect me and our dad. She wears her feelings out on her sleeve and she loves hard. She's too damn nice and she cares too much. I peeped that from the moment I met her, and I realized I had to be that hard shell in her life and make sure nobody ever walks over her again. You my bro and all, but don't keep playing with my sisters heart cause you afraid to love her. That's childish as fuck. I ain't gone fold for that shit cause she don't deserve that and you know that."

"Nah you right." Oshawn mumbled, putting his hands up. "I'm sorry."

"Shit I know I'm right, so stop fucking up, and don't say sorry to me nigga, I ain't Kaynani. And she is going through something, my pops told me she always gets this way around her birthday. So go and make things easier for her, not harder."
