Kevin's POV.

"Babe you don't think that maybe we went a little overboard?!" Marcia asked as she watched Kevin place the star on the tree.

"No baby." He answered, really concentrated on making it straight.

Someday at Christmas by Stevie Wonder blasted in the background and she looked around shaking her head.

"Ya know for a man who never celebrated Christmas like that in the past, you sure love going all holiday crazy now

"Ya know for a man who never celebrated Christmas like that in the past, you sure love going all holiday crazy now." She joked, and Kevin climbed down the ladder with a bright smile on his face.

"Because I have a reason to celebrate now more than ever. Everyone we love is coming back home to spend the holidays with us. I'm happy and healthy, you're happy and healthy, my knucklehead son has settled down with a respectable young lady that I adore, my grandchild is my favorite human being- sorry not sorry-my daughter is a superstar and is finally happy again, and despite me not liking Oshawn in the past I absolutely love him now because he's the reason for it." Kevin sighed, like he was truly the happiest man alive.

Marcia stared at her husband like he was a stranger. "Who are you? And what have you done to my husband?"

He laughed and wrapped his arms around her. "Can't I just have holiday cheer? Is that too much to ask for?"

She raised her eyebrow and hummed. "Ah I guess not. Especially if the grinch is officially put away." She smirked, and he rolled his eyes.

"I am not the grinch." He pouted trying to pull away but she wouldn't let him.

"I'm kidding honey love. And if you have holiday cheer then damnit so will everyone else." She teased, pinching his cheek. "This will be the best Christmas ever."
