It's been a long day without you, my friend
And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
We've come a long way from where we began
Oh I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
When I see you again

Kameera.

Kameera watched her boys unpack their sides of the dorm room, with Nasir helping them, feeling her heart break more and more as every second passed. This was going to be a long day. She stood off to the side wondering if it was just her hormones.

Yeah Nasir had knocked her up again.

Chance bounced up and down on Josiahs made up bed, in her own little world. She didn't even realize how sad this moment was, she was just turning up. She was a walking and very smart 9 month old.

"Mom can you stop staring at us like you're about to cry? It's rubbing off on me." Josiah frowned as he began putting his clothes on the hanger.

Kameera swallowed hard and sucked it up. He was right, this was a good day. This was an accomplishment. Her little princes were now King's in college. She did a wonderful job raising them, and then Nasir helped finish it off the right way. She didn't realize just how much they needed their father until Nasir was there to break up fights, give them advice about being a black man and how to survive in this world as one, he was that masculine energy they needed. This past year and a few months have been amazing.

"She's totally going to cry on the flight back home." Nasir joked and Ayden laughed, looking over his shoulder at Kameera. She was in a daze, just reminiscing on every memory she had of the boys.

"Leave my momma alone."

Josiah picked up Chance and smiled, kissing his cheek. "Hey pretty girl, you like my bed?" She giggled and grabbed his face, clapping her hands as he bounced her in his arms.

Kameera looked away from them completely, doing everything in her power to blink away her tears. She needed to pull through, it was just hard. It was time to let them fly away from the nest, and just pray they use everything they've learned to make it in this cruel world.

Josiah was here on a basketball scholarship and Ayden followed Josiah because they didn't wanna be without each other. They couldn't. It was almost impossible.

"Heeey stop being so sad." Nasir whispered to her as he wrapped his arms around her, kissing her cheek. She turned her head to look up at him.

"I'm trying."

"I know." He smiled, pecking her lips quickly. "But this is a good day okay? Lets not make them feel any worse than they do. We can cry later. I promise."

She sighed and nodded her head. He was right. This wasn't about her. She could cry later, but right now she needed to be happy. She pulled away from Nasir and walked over to Josiahs side of the room, picking up clothes and putting them on the hanger.

He smiled as she began helping, leaning over to kiss her cheek. "Thanks Queen."

She just smiled at him, before turning away and continuing what she was doing. She was going to have to wake up everyday without hearing that any more. No more pointless fights and arguments. No more loud music she didn't understand. No more basketball games. No more good night hugs. No more good night kisses.
