Cortrell | Los AngelesIf you want it, you got it, you know how I'm rocking
They never could stop it, it's stuffed in my pocket
I got up for the score and they never could block it
After the show, I count up in a Masi'
Tears fall from the lies, despite
Hundred bands through the time of the night
When you left, I ain't wanna live life
Now I'm happy on the in and outsideCortrell looked up at the scoreboard seeing 82-84 as he dribbled up the court with 20 seconds on the clock. He went into killer mode as he looked back down and met eyes with his opponent. He had an option to pass the ball too Garret to shoot the three for the win, pull up for the three to win, or iso in the paint to tie the game.
Decisions, decisions.
He wasn't afraid of the moments, it didn't matter if he made it or not. Life goes on, and that's what people failed to realize. But life is a whole lot better if he makes it. So that's what he decided to do.
Pulling up for the three- Cortrell tricked his opponent into thinking he was taking the shot, passing the ball to Garret, who caught the ball and pulled up sinking the three.
Game over, Bruins win.
Cortrell smiled to himself as his teammates tackled Garret. He enjoyed watching his teammates succeed. It just felt better to assist.
"What made you pass the ball?" Coach Kelly asked him as he walked beside him. Cortrell just shrugged and turned to him.
"Sometimes it's better to share the moment. This is bigger than basketball coach."
Coach Kelly just shook his head and chuckled. He has never come across a player like Cortrell. "Yeah I hear you, but don't be afraid to make the moment yours next time."
Cortrell smirked. "You know I can, sometimes I just don't want too." He said, walking away from him towards the stands where his beautiful child was.
