Danielle. | Wednesday

"Your eyes staring back at me, my heart starts to skip a beat, I pray that you will never know, I fall and then you look in my eyesss. You make me deliriousss." Danielle sang along to the music playing from her AirPod as she continued to type her essay.

She was sitting in the back of the library doing what she considered a "lock in" aka she wouldn't leave the library until all her homework was done.

As she was typing another sentence and moving to the third page, a body plopped down next to hers on the sofa.

She paused and blinked before turning to meet eyes with Cameron who was staring at her with a goofy smile.

She just raised her eyebrow in confusion. "How the hell did you know I was here?"

He smacked his lips. "Don't do that, you know damn well you told me you was gone be here earlier today."

She thought about it, remembering that conversation. "Oh yeah," She laughed softly. "Well what do you want?"

"I want you to hurry up and finish whatever you're doing so you can come hang with me. I wanna take you somewhere." He told her, his dimples deepening as he smiled wider.

She whined. "Cameron you know I have to finish this paper."

"That shìt ain't due until next Friday though." His face scrunched up in confusion.

"I like to be ahead of the game unlike most people like YOU."

Cameron mugged her playfully and she tried to keep a straight face before busting out laughing.

"Alright man whatever, where we going?"

A smirk grew on his face as he jumped up from the couch. "That is a surprise my friend."

As she opened her mouth to argue, Cameron just reached down and shut her laptop and began packing up for her. She gasped.

"You're so lucky I have auto save."

He mocked her and threw her book bag over his shoulder before pulling her up off the couch. "Let's ride."

"I can't stand you." She pouted and he laughed.

"They always say that."

Danielles mouth dropped as he parked outside of the aquarium. "What- why are we here Cameron?" She asked as she turned to look at him. He just leaned back and stared at her.

"Well we were talking about our mutual love for fish and I just thought why not? You have had a pretty rough couple of days and I wanted to do something to help you feel better."

Danielle just blinked a few times before a smile broke out on her face and she reached over to hug him tightly. "Oh my gosh Cameron you literally did not have to do this, you are so sweet."

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her, hugging her back. "It's okay, I told you I gotchu."

A few minutes passed before she realized she was just inhaling his scent and hugging him. Her eyes widened and she pulled away quickly. "Shit I'm sorry I didn't realize how long I was hugging you."
