Kaynani parked her car outside of her mothers old studio, looking around the area before getting out of her car. Selena bought the place and turned it into a workshop for young upcoming artists in Atlanta to make a name for themselves. When she died Kevin gave most of the workshop shares to a woman named Cynthia at her mothers wishes, a woman she never even met. That's why she came here after school. She reached for her bag and shut the door, letting her emotions take over. When her birthday comes around she always feels sad and down. She didn't like being reminded she was the cause of her mother's death. Imagine your birthday being your mothers death anniversary. Her dad didn't even know that she would do anything to go back in time and convince her mother not to go through with the pregnancy.
She walked into the studio and immediately spotted the awards on the walls. Her eyes watered at seeing her mothers name on every gold and platinum hit, every Grammy, every Emmy, and more awards on the wall. The main wall in the workshop was dedicated to Selena. She saw that the name of the workshop was called the Selena Murray Memorial Studio.
