Nasir felt like he was experiencing the seven stages of grief all at once. He had every intention of storming into Kameera's shop and raising hell but he didn't. He couldn't.
He was angry, he was shocked, he was in denial, and he was sad. Angry that she lied, but more shocked that she didn't just tell him she didn't go through with it. He was in denial that for the past 16 years there have been not one, but two souls on this earth carrying his blood. Two souls that he had no relationship with, two souls that probably didn't know about him either. He was sad because the actions he mad as a 18 year old boy, were now coming back to bite him in the ass as a man.
He couldn't even be mad at nobody but himself. He should've saw the signs, he should've done more to reach out to her. He should've realized how terrible that lie her parents told him was.
Did they kick her out the house?
He had so many questions as he sat inside of his car. He wanted to go inside and stare a hole into her body until she was forced to address him. He wanted to scream and shout about how angry he was that she would keep this from him for 16 years. 16 years of their life down the drain. 16 years he will never be able to get back or make up.
But he didn't do any of that because he asked her to get the abortion. He made his bed and now he had to lay in it. But two wrongs don't make a right.
If she just would've called him and told him she had them... who knows what could have been. He knows damn well he probably wouldn't have had the same energy. When he first found out she was pregnant he wasn't thinking about nothing but himself. But had she called him and told him the truth before he went off to school, he wouldn't have a choice but to step up.
He would've done what was right at the end of the day. No matter how much he disliked the thought of having kids so young. He wouldn't have ignored her and his kids! He wouldn't have let them grow up without a father. He knew all to well what that felt like.
All she had to do was call him. Give him a second chance to do right or wrong. AT LEAST GIVE HIM THE CHOICE.
But no. She never had any intentions of ever telling him he had two sons. All because he made that one mistake. That right there was really fucking with him. What if they asked who they father was and she said some crazy shit like he was dead?
Fuck Man.
Imagine finding out you had two kid that were damn near grown. What the fuck could he do? What the fuck was he supposed to do? What should he even do?
