Walking down the stairs I rubbed my eyes. It was only four in the morning and someone was banging on my damn door like they had lost their mind.

"Get the fuck back!" I shouted pulling the door open revealing Johnny.

I rolled my eyes and folded my arms.

"Hey sis," he said looking down at his black timberlands.

"Hi Johnny." I said, wondering what the fuck he was doing here at four in the morning.

"I know it's early, and I'm sorry for that. I just couldn't sleep." He said throwing his head back.

"So you come here?" I laughed a little.

"I miss my boy, man." He sniffled.

He put his head down and that's when I seen tears fall down his face.

I grabbed him and wrapped my arms around him while he cried on my shoulder.

"He really gone, Tee." I nodded and rubbed his back.

"It's okay Johnny."

"No it's not!" He said picking his head up. "A nigga killed my nigga man."

"I know! I know they did!" I said back to him. "He left my kids without a father and me without a husband!"

"I shoulda' never left him." He said wiping his face. "I tried to tell him, but he just wanted you by his side."

My face softened.

"I'm sorry Johnny, I really am." I hugged him tighter. "This hurts us too, all of us."

He shook his head and hugged me tighter.

"I'm sorry for coming here this early," he sniffed and looked up at me. "The kids here?"

"No," I said. "They're with Gloria."

"Oh damn," he said. "She been gettin' em as much as she can huh?" He chuckled.

"Spending time with the kids helps her cope with losing Eric." I said.

"And what about you?" He asked.

"They keep me going." I said rubbing my stomach.

He smiled.

"Eric would be happy as fuck knowin' y'all havin' two girls." He chuckled making me laugh.

"He would always talk shit saying how- Tavi was gon be the only girl because I got lucky."

"Tavi was gon be the only girl because you got lucky." We both said at the same time.

"And now look, twin muthafuckin' girls." He said smiling.

A set of headlights pulled into the driveway and I covered my eyes looking at who's car it could be.

Johnny turned around and put his hand on his hip and I grabbed his hand and he looked at me.

Jupiter and Korrine stepped out of his Mercedes and they stopped when they seen us standing there.

"Oh shit," he said. "I ain't know y'all would be up." He smiled at me and grabbed K's hand.

"Wassup man," he said walking up towards the door and smacking Johnny's hand.

"Wassup dawg." Johnny said giving him dap back. "How you doing K?"
