Four months later...

"Are you sure you're comfortable?" I rolled my eyes and looked over at Sam.

I was here at the doctors office to find out the gender of my baby and he was doing thee absolute most.

Over these past few months, Sam has been by my side every step of the way. Due to the circumstances,I never attended the dinner he had planned for us. A few weeks after Eric's funeral I called him and gave him the run down after I apologized first.

And since then, he's been my rock.

In the middle of the night, he brings me my favorite candy, ice cream and anything else I'm craving at the time, rubs my feet, massages my back, cleans up around the house, and he even helped me move all of the old stuff out of the babies new room.

I don't know if he's just being nice or what? But I really do appreciate it.

He's so sweet and I can't help but always stare at his face. That light skin and those freckles make my hormones rage!

He always smelt so good and I wanted to take him down instantly as soon as I seen him.

If my big ass belly wasn't in the way, and I wasn't five and half months pregnant; He'd be in between- let me stop.

"Sam, I'm fine." I said for the fifth time since I've walked in here.

"Hey, I'm just making sure." He held his hands up in surrender. "Wouldn't want my - the baby to be uncomfortable."

I smiled at how he corrected himself.

It was so cute. Sam did anything and everything possible for me during my pregnancy and at times, lord forgive me; you would've though that I was pregnant by him.

"You should be happy to have a man like this mommy," Doctor Evans said sitting down next to me and rolling the monitor towards me. "Most men don't act like this. They just sit there."

I laughed.

"Thank you doctor, would you please tell her?" Sam said.

I looked up at him and he smiled down at me and winked.

I shook my head and he folded his arms and leaned down to kiss my forehead.

Ugh, his lips.

"Alright you two, let's find out the gender of your baby." Doctor Evans said.

She put the wand on my belly and moved it around slightly. She adjusted the knobs on the screen and soon, baby's heartbeat flowed through the room.
