Samuel Brash
"Aight man," I said placin' Jason down on the ground. "I'll see you later when I pick you up."
He nodded and rubbed his eyes.
My poor lil man, he was extra tired this mornin' since he spent the night wit' me at Toni's house last night.
But I tried to get his lil ass in the bed but noooo, he wanted to stay up and watch shark tale, that's what his lil ass get.
"Gimme' sum." I said holdin' my fist out.
He dapped me up.
"Aight, love you." I said.
He walked into my arms and hugged me.
"Love you too daddy."
I smiled and watched him walk into his classroom.
Walkin' out of the school, I walked over to the truck and got in.
"That was quick." I looked over seein' Toni look up from her phone.
We both had the day off so we decided that we would go house huntin'.
"Yea, he tired so he ain't have as much energy to be all extra like he usually is." I laughed and pulled out of the daycares parking lot.
"Don't do him." She laughed and hit my shoulder.
I shrugged and pulled up to the stop light.
"So I just got off the phone with the realtor," she said. "He said he should be at the first house in ten minutes."
I nodded and jumped on the freeway.
We lived in Tarzana, and the first house we were lookin' at was in Riverside.
"How many rooms this one got again?" I asked switchin' lanes.
She looked on her phone.
"I think six bedrooms," She said.
"We need a big yard too." I said.
She nodded. "I think we should get a dog."
I looked over at her.
"For the kids." She smiled.
"For the kids huh?" I licked my lips.
"Stop looking at me like that Sam." I laughed and shook my head.

Pullin' up to the second house of the day, I parked and got out and helped Toni out.
She grabbed my hand and I locked the truck.
This house was a beach house off of Malibu. I prayed to god that this would be the house. The first one was absolutely fuckin' horrible.
Toni snatched me out of the house so damn fast.
"Babe, this is beautiful." She said as we walked up to the front door.
"Hell Yeah." I said openin' the door and lettin' her in first.
As soon as she stepped in she gasped.
