Seven months later...

"AH AH!" I said stoppin' Elle from pullin' on the curtains Toni had just put up.

She looked back at me, with her hand still reachin'.

"Don't you do it Elle," I said callin' her.

Still lookin' at me, she grabbed the curtain and tugged it, causin' it to fall down.

I smacked my lips and walked over to her in her walker. She tried to run but I caught the back of it and pulled her out.

She giggled loudly in my arms.

"What I tell you?" I asked lookin' at her.

She wiggled around in my arms.

"I know you hear me talkin' to you Elle Tai." I said callin' her by her full name.

She looked at me and then stuck her fingers in her mouth.

"Da!" She shouted loudly.

I smiled and kissed her cheek.

"Say Dada." I said.

She looked at me. "Da!"

I pursued my lips. "Dada."

"Da!" She screamed.

"Okay, okay. Da it is." I chuckled and carried her into the kitchen

I put her in her high chair and grabbed their little snacks from the cabinet.

I poured a few on her tray and she grabbed them and stuffed them in her mouth.

"Aye, one at a time." I said movin' some away from her.

"Hey baby." I looked up seein, Toni comin' into the kitchen with Samari and Jason following behind her.

"Hey mama." I leaned over and kissed her lips. "Hey babygirl." I munched on Samari's cheek.

She giggled loudly.

I looked down at Jason and held my hand out. He looked up at me and smiled widely before he slapped his hand in mine.

"That's my boy! Gimme' another one!" I held it higher. He jumped and slapped my hand again.

I smiled and ruffled his hair.

"You ready for your game tonight?" I asked squattin' down in front of him.

"Yeah!" He shouted.

"He's been practicing all morning." Toni said runnin' her fingers through his neat cut curls.

"And what about Ej?" I asked givin' Samari some of their snacks.

Right on time, Tavi and Ej walked into the kitchen.

"I'm beating them." He said as he walked past me and Toni, goin' into the pantry.

I look at Tavi and she shrugged her shoulders and sat at the table.

Toni grabbed some bowls from the cabinets and I sat down at the table feedin' the Twins.

"I have a surprise for you." I looked back seein' Toni wrappin' her arms around my shoulders.

"A surprise?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

She nodded and kissed my cheek.

"It's outside."

She kissed my cheek and smirked.

I unwrapped her arms and damn near sprinted out of the kitchen.
