"You guys ready to eat?" Toni asked as we all sat in the livin' room.

"Yes!" All the kids jumped up shoutin'.

I chuckled and looked up at her as she stood up from her spot next to me.

She grabbed her stomach and made this face that had me questionin' if she was okay or not.

"You good baby?" I asked touchin' her lower back.

She took a deep breath and looked back at me.

"Yeah, I think I just stood up to fast." She said. "I'm okay."

I looked at her before she walked away going into the kitchen.

I watched as Jason played with Tavi and Ej for a lil bit until I heard Toni in the kitchen cussing under her breath.

"I'll be back aight?" I said lookin' at the kids.

They looked up and nodded at me and went back to playin'.

I got off the couch and went into the kitchen seeing Toni hunched over the sink.

"Baby," she looked up seein' me. "You okay?"

She shook her head no.

I walked over to her and rubbed her back.

"What's wrong?"

"I got cramps," she said standin' up straight. "And I-" She looked down seein' a puddle beneath her legs.

My mouth fuckin' dropped and we looked back up at each other.

"My water just broke!" She said lookin' at me.

I blinked, lookin' at her.

"Ima'- I'll go get the truck." I said.

She nodded and rubbed her stomach to calm down.

I jogged out of the kitchen and grabbed her keys out of the bowl and ran out the door over to her truck. I started it and pulled it closer to the door and parked it and jumped out.

"Jason, Tavi, Ej." They all looked at me as I stood in the front door foyer. "Go get in the truck, we gotta go to the hospital."

They all jumped up and Tavi grabbed Jason's hand and they all ran outside to the truck and got in.

I walked back into the kitchen seein' Toni wasn't there.

Where tha fuck did she go that quick?

I turned around and ran up the stairs and looked in the babies room, seein' her in there.

"Baby, I got the truck, let's go."

She turned around with the baby bags and I quickly took them from her. She was hella calm' while I was loosin' my mind.

"Calm down," She said grabbin' my hand as we walked down the stairs. "I've done this four times, I know what to do."

I looked at her and she leaned in to kiss my lips.

"Relax." I nodded.

She smiled and grabbed her phone and her purse and we walked out the door.

I turned to lock the door.

"Danielle!" She said loudly.

I turned around seein' a brown skin girl walk up to her.

"Are you okay? What's wrong?" She asked hugging Toni.
