Eric Sanchez
I pulled up in front of the diner and spotted her inside. I shut my truck off and got out and went inside. The bell above the door made her look my way.
It's been a few months since I've seen this girl and she still looked the same. She smiled over at me.
"Wassup girl." I walked over and gave her a side hug.
She smiled. "Hey!"
I sat down next to her and picked up the menu. "What's good wit' you?"
She looked over at me with a smirk. "I've been chilling, I decided to come to Cali like you said."
I looked over at her. "I never told you to move here though."
She laughed. "You didn't, but you said you would show me a good time."
She placed her hand on my thigh. I looked down at it.
"I ain't mean it like that." I moved my leg and her hand fell off.
"So how did you mean it?" She leaned in closer to me.
I laughed a lil bit. "I told you to come to cali so you could experience it. Not me."
"I've already experienced you."
I snapped my neck at her. "Aye, don't be saying that shit."
"It's true." She laughed. "So, show me again."
I bit my bottom lip as her hand ran up my leg again. I grabbed her hand when she started going towards my zipper.
"Yo, you need to chill." I looked around. "I'm a married man."
She shrugged. "And? Does your wife know that you sent me-"
I quickly snatched her up out of her seat and drug her out of the restaurant. When we got outside, I pushed her against the wall and got in her face.
"Look, what happened that night is over." I told her.
She folded her arms.
"If it was over, why are you here?"
I sighed and bit my bottom lip. I looked away from her face because she was burning a hole in my damn face.
"You know you came here for one reason, just like I did." She said.
I didn't know why I was here. I had no business being here anyway.
I pulled away from her and walked over to my truck. I got inside and started it up. She walked over to the side and opened the door.
"Close my door man, I'm not gon be playing games with you." I told her.
She climbed inside and slammed my door.
"Aye my nigga, don't be slamming my door!" I shouted at her.
She ignored me and pulled her phone out. "My hotel room is a few blocks from here."
I smacked my lips and pulled off from the curb and sped to her hotel room.
I looked back at her while she slept peacefully and slipped my Jordan's back on my feet. I got up from the bed and grabbed my shit and walked out of the room.
I was feeling like shit.
I looked at my watch and it was time for me to go get the kids from school. I hopped in my truck and sped to the house to take a quick shower. Then I went to get them.
When I got there, I went to get Tavi first. My baby was sitting by her classroom waiting for me while she talked to her teacher, Ms. Arnold.
"Hey y'all." I smiled at them.
