The first book was about him, this story is Toni's and her life now.

I'm sorry, but that's been my story line since before I wrote The Woods.

Toni Sanchez

"Hey! Hey!" I said standing between Johnny and Sam. "This shit is not going to happen now, not in my house."

I looked back at Sam who's chest rose and fell, he was getting mad.

I touched his chest and he looked down at me.

"Johnny, you need to leave if you're going to cause problems, I'm not having that shit." I said looking back at him.

"Nah, what the fuck? You fuckin' this nigga after my best friend died?" He asked yelling.

"Nigga lower yo tone before shit jump off in here." Sam said moving closer to him.

I quickly grabbed him.

"Nigga I'll blow yo' muthafuckin' head off, you don't know me!"

"Dawg, I don't give a fuck who you are," Sam said moving me out of the way. "Jump."

Before I could grab him, Johnny swung on Sam and landed it right on his jaw.

"Daaammnn." Jupiter and Korrine said.

All of a sudden, Sam swung back at Johnny knocking him straight to the ground.

"Sam! Stop!" I screamed.

They rolled around punching and shit.

"Jupiter do something!" I screamed looking back at him.

He looked at Korrine and she looked at him.

"Nigga listen to her! They fucking up her house!"

He rolled his eyes and ran out the kitchen and over to them and tried to pull them apart.

He grabbed Sam by his hoodie and pulled him off.

I reached out and grabbed him, pulling him behind me.

"Nigga you got me fucked up!" Johnny said getting off the floor and charging at us but Jupiter stood in front of him.

"Nah man, not in my sister house." Jupiter said blocking him.

"Nigga I'll beat yo ass, c'mon." Sam shouted.

"No!" I said screamed. "Johnny get out my house!" I said looking at him.

"Toni- you picking this nigga over yo family?" He asked looking at me like I was stupid. "I'm yo brother man!"

"Johnny! Leave!" I said looking at him and then turning to Sam. "Go upstairs and calm down!"

He looked at Johnny and then looked at me.

I looked at him and blinked. "Go!"

He sighed and turned going up the stairs towards my bedroom.

"Bitch ass nigga," he mumbled.

"Sam!" I shouted.

Jupiter was still holding Johnny back and Korrine walked into the living room and rubbed my back.

"Johnny, I know that Eric's gone and I'm suffering from that shit everyday; but I need to be happy too! I can't mope around all day like you do!" I said.
