Whenever I'm feeling down, I go to the sunflower garden that's down south of where I live. I would always go as a kid, I always felt at Peace there. For the past four years, I've seen another person at the sunflower garden. The sunflower garden is rather hidden, no one ever really comes here except for old couples (but that's a rarity).
It was a girl, the girl had black hair and beautiful brown eyes. Since I go to the sunflower garden often, I always notice her there.
I've never seen her around, like on the streets or around my school. I only see her around here. I want to build up the courage and approach her, so we can become friends! but I get somewhat flustered just by looking at her.
I usually get flustered at strangers. it's always been like that.
As I'm staring at this one sunflower, take a couple pictures with it. I feel a tap on my shoulder.
I don't turn around at first, since I get those feelings of taps pretty often. They're usually fallen petals of the sunflowers or just some bugs that end up on my shoulder.
I continue analyzing the flower, until I feel the tap once more.
I quietly sigh to myself and turn around to see the girl.
"o-oh... hello there!" I say to her, taking around my hand to exchange a handshake.
"my name is Jeongin, yours?" I smile to her
she softly laughs and returns the handshake.
"you'll find out eventually" she replies, smiling back.
As we let go of each other's hands, we stay in silence for about five minutes until I break it.
I can't STAND awkward silences. they're horrible.
"so why did you tap my shoulder miss?" I ask, awkwardly smiling while scratching my head.
I look pathetic right now, great
"well, for the past couple of years I've seen you around here. I thought, why not become friends with this gentleman? but if you're not up for that, then that's alright! sorry for disturbing you." She says, awkwardly smiling and slowly backs away.
at this point I've dazed off, not paying attention to what's she saying, i daze back into reality when I see that she's farther away from me.
"oh no! come back, sorry I dazed off for a bit"
she stops backing away and comes right back to me. She can walk pretty darn fast.
"so... what's your name?" I ask, smiling to her
"you'll find out sooner or later" she replies, cupping my cheeks and smiles.
she un-cups my cheeks and she grabs my hand. We began running.
"what are you doing-"
"just follow me"
small time skip.
like maybe 7 minutes lmaowe've arrived at the top of the hill, where we can see all of the sunflowers. she sits down and so do I.
"I didn't know that we were allowed to come up here." i stated while looking at her. wanting to have eye contact.
"my name is Mina. nice to meet you Jeongin" She says, turning to face me while smiling widely.
"that's a pretty name!" i immediately say, smiling.
"thank you very much"

both Mina and Jeongin stayed at the top of the hill for hours. Wanting to get to know each other, both even told each other their deepest and possibly their darkest secrets. Both people didn't expect to both feel so comfortable, and safe with each other.
Time has passed and it's now 8:25 pm. Both people were there at 1 pm.
They continued talking until Mina decided to leave.
"I have to go Jeongin, it was really nice meeting you! I hope we can meet each other again soon." Mina says while waving goodbye and walking away.
Jeongin sits up and yells "WAIT!", so Mina stops in her tracks before she can leave any further.
"what's your number? or what school do you go to? we haven't talked about that." Jeongin says in a desperate matter. wanting to keep in contact with this one girl that he just met.
Mina smiles and walks towards Jeongin. Jeongin unlocks his phone and hands it over to Mina, so she can put her number in.
Soon after she puts her number in and crouches down to Jeongins level (since he was still sitting down) and gives him a kiss on the cheek and walks away to go home.
Jeongin is left there, stunned, with his right hand touching his cheek, attempting to process what had just happened.
Jeongin had officially made this day, his favourite day that he has spent at the sunflower garden, and hopes to have more good days with that girl named Mina.
authors note!
hey everyone :) I hope you all enjoyed this! also please don't think "Mina" is a female idol because it isn't, it's just a name. No idol x idol in this book.I'd also like to say that I got all of this inspiration because of the photo (seen at the top). I really hope you guys enjoyed this! I feel quite proud of myself actually, all of the words and just my creativity just flew out of me I guess.
Moving on, I also might remove the "comment section" or whatever that is called where you guys can comment on any part of the story and put in your input.
It's not because I don't like it because I do enjoy your input, but the number has become rather large of the amount of comments there are. I probably won't do it but if the number keeps increasing I will :') anyways! I love you all and I hope you enjoyed this 💗
