Jeongin's pov:
Today we have a new classmate coming in, her name is Son Chaeyeon, beautiful name right?
I really want to become friends with her, not only because she's a girl, but because I really don't have many friends at my school. You see, most of my friends are graduates, meaning that they don't go to school anymore.
You might be confused, let me rephrase this. I am a JYP trainee, and my friends are also trainees, and they don't attend school anymore due to training and their own decisions. So the majority of my friends are at JYP Entertainment!
I, of course, have friends at school but not too many, and I like it that way! I just feel like I should become friends with the new girl. I just feel deep within that we were supposed to be friends? Or at least be apart of each other's lives.
"Students! Pay attention, the new student has arrived."
All the students, including myself, stopped doing what we were doing and looked at the front of the class and we saw the new student.
"woah she's so cute"
I hear my friend say, I smile and gave him a glance that means "shut up" . He nods back in reply.
"Well, introduce yourself miss!"
"Ahah okay... well hello everyone! My name is Son Chaeyeon, my birthday is March 19th and my specialty is dancing and mathematics! Oh and English ! Please take good care of me!!"
She bows after her introduction
"hmmm... so Chaeyeon you are a dancer and a foreigner?"
"Yes! I've been dancing since I was a little girl and I used to live in Canada for a certain amount of time. That's why when I speak korean I don't really have a korean accent."
"Wow! Interesting, Miss Chaeyeon you'll be sitting beside Yang Jeongin ! he sits in the far back on left side."
"Okay! Thank you."
and bows to the teacher.
well great the pretty new girl is going to sit beside me.
"Hello Jeongin! I'm Chaeyeon."
"I-I know."
I'm not five years old wtf why did I stutter?
"Oh! I thought you didn't, during my introduction it kind of looked like you were gazing off into space."
My mouth widens slightly and my eyes appear bigger
"really?? I was paying attention the whole time since you're so pretty and cool."
"you think I'm pretty?"
Part 25293729 of Jeongin saying things without thinking!!!! CRAP.
"....yes! You're really pretty!"
and out of nowhere I sudden feel a pair of arms around me.
"thank you Jeongin, no one has said that to me before."
"Hey! Jeongin and Chaeyeon, you guys just met, stop talking during class or you'll be punished!"
Chaeyeon lets go of me and stands up after hearing what the professor had said.
"Sorry Ma'am! It was my fault. I was trying to get to know Jeongin."
And bows afterwards.
"Well there's the free period to do that. Focus on your work"
"Yes ma'am!"
Chaeyeon finally sits down and smiles at me.
"we'll talk more later. Okay?"
"o-okay."
COUPLE HOURS AFTER.
during school Chaeyeon was looking for me but I avoided her, not because I don't like her! But because I'm somewhat shy... and I felt like I would've made a fool out of myself if I immediately went towards her
I suddenly feel someone tap my shoulder and I decide to turn around.
"Jeongin! I've been looking for you!!"
Chaeyeon,,,
I smile awkwardly and scratch the back of my neck out of the awkwardness I feel.
"Chaeyeon. Stop acting like we're immediate best friends because we aren't. I barely even know you! I would like to get to know you but you're forcing a friendship and that isn't good."
I tell her I'm a serious matter but still with the awkward smile plastered on my face. I let out a awkward laugh and stare at Chaeyeon.
"you're right Jeongin. I'm so sorry. I just want to make friends and not be a loner or whatever. I'm so sorry. I'll introduce myself once more and this time I'll be slow. Hello, my name is Son Chaeyeon. I am your new classmate and possible new friend. Take good care of me!"
Chaeyeon bows and slightly smiles afterwards
"Hello Chaeyeon, I'm Jeongin. I am your classmate and hopefully we'll be great friends."
and that's how I met my best friend.

I am back from my little writing hiatus! I'd also like to apologize if the story went a little too fast (meaning the plot and events were to quick). I'm still trying to recover from my writers block so my writing will be a bit... off. Hopefully you'll understand! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter :)
