Two Weeks

If I were to say this day was going great I would be lying, Kiba has been asking about what happened this morning with Sasuke and really there was nothing to tell. Nothing important happened other than me getting on his nerves.

Finally I just told him it was about the project which I completely forgot about and is due, in two days. I might as well just put it all together I'm sure me and Shikamaru can do better then Sasuke plus he's busy anyway.

Once the awkward first period class was over Kiba and I walked around the school, we didn't have anything to do and we just didn't want to be in class. We just said we were going to different places, not the truth but its whatever. Skipping a couple minutes of class never hurt anyone.

Kiba seemed very excited today he really was a huge ball of energy. "Whats up?" I asked.

Kiba smiled and turned towards me "My family is actually going on vacation this Christmas, were going back to moms old town and guess what!" I looked at him and told him to be a little quieter in the hall because we don't want to get yelled at.

I didn't know what to guess I know from talking about it that Kiba has a really good friend there, they're not cousins or even related but they are as close as brothers. I'm sure he's excited to see him I don't quite remember his name but I know he loves visiting that place.

"I don't know what?" Kiba looked at me and then frowned. "I get to see Suigetsu!" he shouted, oh that was his name it was a rather weird name if you ask me and from the way Kiba describes him, he's kind of an asshole.

"I wish you could come! That would be so much fun all three of us hanging out I know you would like him" Kiba was excited we don't go on break for a couple more weeks but I already know he'll be talking about it until he leaves.

"Yeah too bad I can't sounds like a lot of fun" I lied, it doesn't sound like that much fun at all. I know me and Kiba get along but that's just because we have a lot in common and are practically the same person. I already have Sasuke and he's a complete ass, I don't need two and I definitely don't need to spend almost two weeks with Kiba and his family.

"It will be! I'll text you and tell you all about it when I'm there, I hope this week and next week fly by because I get to leave Thursday night" I nodded my head and smiled great another day without Kiba but that's not for a while I shouldn't even think about it.

We continued walking in the halls passing old classrooms and somehow we ended up in the middle school wing. I frowned looking at the lockers and teachers, middle school wasn't great but it wasn't that bad, I rekindled my friendship with a lot of people those years and even had Kiba help me out a bit.

"Oh! I l almost forgot to tell you, Suigetsu might even move here. His family was thinking alot about it and he's trying to convince them. So don't worry hopefully you'll meet him eventually" Great.

"Awesome can't wait" I said with a smile and laughed a little I don't want him to think I don't want to meet him or anything but honestly. Suigetsu doesn't sound like he's going to fit into our group. He sounds more like a jock with an attitude then whatever we are. Maybe I am wrong but I'm probably not, even Kiba is good at sports. Suigetsu could take him away just as fast.

"We should get back to class" I said Kiba agreed and we walked back to class. It seems like everything is happening really fast and its either good or bad, not in between.

On the way to lunch after classes I passed Sasuke he looked like he was going to Kakashi's classroom. I want to ask him if everything is okay but now doesn't seem like the time and with Kiba here I wouldn't be able to get him alone.

I sat at the table while Kiba and Lee went and got something to eat, Sasuke told me that Gaara gave him the footage from the other night in a text, I told him I would edit the footage with Shikamaru tonight and he said, Whatever. Yeah I sent out a nice text and even put a little smiley face at the end and he replied with whatever. Quite the charmer am I right.

I looked at Shikamaru "Shika!" I yelled I haven't exactly talk to him in awhile but we're still good. "What" he asked. I smiled Shikamaru always sounds so sleepy.

"Can I come over and edit the footage with you?" I really don't know all that much about computer editing and shit like that but I know Shikamaru does.

He looked up from his sandwich "Yeah, are you staying the night?" I guess I could. "Is it okay?" I asked. He shrugged and took out his phone probably texting his mom.

After a couple minutes he said it was fine and I can just get dropped off later after school. I was kind of glad that the conversation was over before the rest of the table got back. I know for sure that if Kiba and the others came over too nothing would get done.
