* James POV*
"Guys please hurry up and set up the Christmas tree!", I yell at Kace and Grant.
"We're trying! The damn branches keep sticking me in the head!", Grant yells making me giggle.
"Julia, come here baby."
I turn around to see Maya with Julia on her lap and their both sipping hot cocoa.
Kobe and Dylan are making cookies in the kitchen... that might be that burning smell I smell.
I shake my head and head into the kitchen.
Only to find the cookies in the oven burnt to a crisp.
Kobe and Dylan are covered in flour. They're both looking at me with puppy dog eyes.
"He started it", Dylan says pointing at Kobe.
"WHUT! No I didn't you lying piece of turd!", Kobe says then grabs a handful of flour and throws it on Dylan.
"OH! So it was you Dylan?", I say trying to hide the smirk on my face. God, I can never have a clean kitchen in this house.
"JULIA AND KACE! Come in here and take care of your children!", I yell into the living room.
I walk back out into the living room to find that neither of them listened to me.
The Christmas tree is on its side, Kace and Grant nowhere to be found.
Only a snickering Julia and Maya.
"If you're looking for them, try under the tree", Maya says cackling, clearly unable to hold her laughter back any longer.
I roll my eyes and walk towards the tree to find both of them playing rock, paper, scissors under it.
"What in the actual fuck are you doing?", I ask rising an eyebrow.
"Well Granty-boy here bet me to see if the tree could hold my weight. And if it didn't he would catch me. CLEARLY, that's not what happened.", Kace says glaring at Grant.
"But... why are ya'll playing rock, paper, scissors?", I ask.
"Oh, because we don't feel like moving and the game controllers are on the table", Grant says, smiling up at me.
I pinch my forehead, "I need... I need to get out of this chaos".
"I'm with you on that!", Julia says, getting off of Maya, "Let's go to the pool".
"It's like -3 degrees outside Julia."
"yeah well, who said we were gonna swim?", she responds with a smile on her face and runs to the backyard.
I roll my eyes and follow her only to find her putting on skates.
"You want to... skate on my pool?", I say crossing my arms.
"Yeah! It'll be fun, I promise!", she says.
"I'll believe anything she says", Maya says coming from behind me.
Next thing you know every one is running outside to find out what we're doing.
"OH SNAP! Are we gonna skate on James' pool!?", Kace yells... literally into my eardrum.
I push him away, "Welp! I guess that's what we're doing"!
I receive a lot of WHOOPS AND YEAHS.
Then we all run into the pool ready to skate.
Then the ice breaks.
*2 hours later*
"Ko-Kobe can you p-pass the re-emote?", I say shivering under my blanket. I seriously think we all have pneumonia now.
ALLL THANKS TO JULIA AND HER BIG IDEAS!
I cuddle closer to Grant with Maya laying on my lap and Julia behind her. Kobe, Kace, and Dylan are all cozied up on the other couch.
I swear they look like a triple and it's adorable. We all know that Kace is the top though.
I drink more of my hot cocoa and look around the room at all of my friends.
Even though we're all sick now, I can see the happiness radiating off each of them. I'm glad that I could spend this Christmas with the greatest people I ever met.
"James, I love you."
I look down to a smiling Maya, "I love you too".
