Brennan grabbed her phone off of the hospital bed side table. She has told Hanna to tell booth to call her. The second her fingers touched the smooth surface of her phone, a familiar ringtone filled the room.

"Hey Bones how you feeling?" his voice had a effect on her. a smile crept it's way upon her brused face.

"I'm okay. Just needed to talk to someone, if you need to go, don't let me keep you up." she didn't want him to hang up but she didn't want to bother him.

"No, no. I don't need to go. I'm crashing on the couch tonight, I needed some time to think away from Hanna." He sounded upset. Like he was confused.

"Booth, what happe-. wait no it's none of my business. I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked." She let out a sigh and breathed in deeply.

"It's okay. I actually need someone to talk to, too."his voice was frail as if he was trying to avoid someone hearing him.

Brennan layed back down and sighed a sigh of relief he actually wanted to talk to her about personal stuff. "Okay what do you need to talk about, Booth. I'm here to listen." She was honest. Atleast.

"It's Hanna she is.. I don't know what she is. It's like she is jealous of you being my partner, my bestfriend. I don't know what to say to her, but I don't want to do something I'll regret latter." He didn't want to break up with Hanna. He loved her. But he thought he loved bones more. But if he told her and she didn't feel the same way there whole friendship would be ruined.

"Booth I'm sorry, you know I'm not good at relationships. I haven't had a steady one in 5 years, actually I haven't had one at all now that I think of it." She let out a sigh that made booth grin and laugh. She hadn't have a boyfriend ever since the 2nd year of working with Booth.

"I know bones. It's just, I don't know. What did you want to talk about?" he was concerned for her. He wanted to be at the hospital with her but he knew Hanna wouldn't approve.

"It's nothing. I really should get going, back to sleep you know. You should to you have had a busy day. Goodnight Booth" and the line went dead. She was tired but she was far from falling back to sleep.

Before Booth could tell her goodnight she had hung up. He wasn't tired. So he decided to go get a glass of milk and think about what choice to choose.

He grabbed his favorite glass hockey cup out of the cubboard. It was originally a XL shot glass bones had purchased for him as a joke. He loved it, but when Hanna first moved in she tried to convince him to throw it away because it was 'hideous'. Although Booth thought different.

Brennan layed her phone down and began to think. What did Booth mean by 'do something he might regret' was he thinking about breaking up with Hanna? No she couldn't let that happen. Her bestfriend would be heart broken. As she began to deft off to sleep a nurse came in.

"Hello doctor Brennan, how are you?" her voice was kind and gentle which didn't bother brennan but she wanted to sleep so it annoyed her enough.

"I'm quite alright. When will be able to go home?" she was ready to get out of the hospital and she had only been there a day and a half. Of course anyone would want to get out of the hospital, it's a natural human sense.

"Well if we work our way right, you will be out by tomorrow afternoon. Though you will need to be assisted through out today, speaking of which where did your husband go he has been gone awhile." Brennan looked up into the nurses eyes to see if she was serous.

"What, what are you talking about? I'm not married." Brennan was oblivious to the fact that in order for Booth to be with her when she woke up he had to be family or a mate.

"Oh. Dr. brennan the man, I believe he said his name was Seeley Booth said he was your husband?" the nurse was in shock the man had lied to them about who he was or how he was related to Dr.Brennan.

"What? He-" she look a deep breath. "He said I was his wife?" she was stunned by the shock the nurse has on her Carmel face.

"Are you not his wife? He stayed by your side until you woke up. I only seen him leave 2 times in the while 12 hours you were asleep." She was shocked he said those words, those words that weren't true but she so desperately wanted to be true. Even though she didn't believe in marriage, it's just a price of paper after all, she still wanted to be known as Mrs.Brennan Booth but those where just dreams of hers that will never come true.

She sat up and put her hand in her lap. "I'm not his wife, he is my partner at work." she regained her eye contact with the edge of the white bed. "Why do I need to be babysat? I'm a grown woman."

"Doctor Brennan I assure you that you are very well able to take care of yourself but it's the head doctors order." She took a sigh of surrender. She had no one to look after her besides Max but knowing him he wouldn't. Booth would offer to help but Hanna wouldn't let him and Brennan wouldn't want them getting into another fight. She could ask Angela and she knew Angela would be happy to help but when Angela helps someone the person has no say so in what's gonna happen while they are in the custody of Angela Montenegro-Hodgins.

"Okay. Can I just figure this all out tomorrow I'm kinda tired and would really like to rest now." The nurse shook her head and bid her goodnight and walked back to her station, positioned at the service desk. This was gonna be a hard night to sleep for the anthropologist.

Booth sipped small gulps of the milk on the couch. He decided to turn on the tv about 10 odd minutes ago, he didn't know what he was watching and he really didn't care. All he could do was think about how brennan was doing. He wasn't so much worried why the kidnapper took her and not Hanna but he could give a few guesses. He set that milk down and wiped his lips with the outter part of his large hands.

He had decided his hands where large when he compared them to Brennan's tiny gentle hands a few months ago.

His thoughts where in a jumble of different things but was quickly pulled away from the train as Hanna walked in a sat next to him on the leather couch.

"Booth, I'm sorry for what I said to Temperance at the hospital and what I said in the kitchen earlier. Will you please just come to bed." her voice was apologetic. He stared into her eyes for a bit longer to make sure her eyes agreed with her voice.

"Okay, but I don't want you being jealous of mine and bones partnership. Okay?" His voice was stern but yet so soft.

"Okay," she smiled one of her smiles that pulled booth to love her. "I love you"

"I love you too Hanna" his voice was clear but his mind was telling him different. But he was tired and he didn't fight it. He walked into the bedroom and drifted into his dream that just so happen to contain a certain anthropologist. What? He couldn't control his dreams, and in this case he didn't want to.
